Please note that Shelen is not a hotel, but a guest house. Relaxing in the penthouse
So we were fascinated by the appearance and positive reviews when we booked and did not pay attention to it (that this is not a hotel but a guest house), then little things related to this began to emerge.
We booked, sent an advance payment, wrote in a letter to Shelen saying that you will be informed when the money will reach you. No answer, no greetings, they called themselves to find out if they got there.

We arrived at the hotel at 3, they tell us that the room is being cleaned and we have to wait half an hour (and their checkout time is at 13, well, at least the staff (Jafer) said so, the previous guests decided to linger. We are waiting with a huge number of things at the entrance, like Gypsies are sitting, and besides this, the most important thing is that with a baby. We ordered food. Manti are tolerable, roast potatoes and one piece of meat, my husband, who is unpretentious in food, was indignant. We went up to the room. There were no TVs in all rooms (in one barely with ripples). In one room, the air conditioner did not work. The conder was repaired on the first day, with a telly in general a circus, but somehow they did it in one room by the end of the next day. Someone will say they say why the telly, for example, we don’t need it, but the elderly parents who once went to the sea, then, as a rule, at home - they needed it. And anyway, it’s stated, but if they don’t catch the meaning of these TVs. Everything is strange in the room: as if not 7 people were waiting: in the kitchen there were 3 plugs, 6 spoons, 5 chairs, there is a kettle, but there were no cups, one on a frying pan (in which even eggs could not be fried - everything stuck) and a small saucepan-ladle - here is the kitchen for you, eat dear guests! By the way, owners, if you are reading this review, put at least a microwave in the kitchen, otherwise people have to buy food so that they can at least warm it up! The faucet in the kitchen and in one of the rooms did not work - they came to clean it on the first day, but this can be checked before the guests. Towels, one small per person, asked for 3 for each, we were told we were not a hotel, but a guest house, but they gave us one more, apparently gritting our hearts. Declared change of linen every 5 days, lived 7, we were not changed, did not even ask! Cleaning the room on request, respectively, and taking out the garbage, if you please do it yourself. In general, the rooms were clean, not a speck of dust, but everywhere black long hair: on a white tile, sofa, blankets, it's disgusting. And it seems that all their women are Muslim in headscarves... I already spoke about food, they ordered it there again after the first day, and so the food is tasteless, the level of a dining room on the waterfront (only on the waterfront it is 1.5 times cheaper). Again, I read reviews that amazingly delicious food is in Shelen, I don’t know who wrote them. And even in the order they managed to mess up: they ordered manti, after half an hour Jafer comes running and says that they forgot about our order and they don’t exist in principle, order something else! We almost got hit. The location - the view, of course, is amazing, but it’s hard to go to the firey mountain (I’ll note even for young people). No, we went several times a day, and even with a stroller, but the pleasure is very doubtful! More trying to drive a car. Having booked, we hoped that all the same, as in previous years, shelen would have an agreement with a military sanatorium to pass to the beach through their territory, but alas... But it’s our own fault, no one promised us 100%. And the noise from the Cypress Alley is very well heard, even with the windows closed.
In general, everything is made up of little things. Our holiday in Shelen was negative.
