In September of this year, we rested with a girlfriend in Dream-2, which is on the 1st line, on the very seashore. We booked in advance, 1.5 months in advance.
We were met by the administrator Tatyana Aleskandrovna, a complacent, energetic lady. During the entire stay, she reacted positively to any questions and wishes, for example, she herself took me to the beach, showed sunbeds, umbrellas
Our number 301 (3rd floor, south junior suite). The room was exactly as advertised on the internet. Cleanliness, new furniture, pleasant colors of the interior, there is even a dressing table with a mirror, "a la boudoir". Bathroom with shower, hairdryer in the room. On the floor carpet. Balcony with table and chairs and flowering petunias. The view from the room is the sea with the beach almost at my feet, it was stormy for several days, and the sound of the waves at night was unusual for me. The hotel has a spiral staircase, which is not convenient for the elderly and children. Yes, there are countless stairs in Santa Barbara, steps are just everywhere in the Cliff, that's my impression! Well, for us, the steps are not a problem. The kitchen is located on the 6th floor, with all the bells and whistles: dishes, a kettle, a refrigerator (there are refrigerators in the rooms), a microwave oven, a coffee pot, etc. Everywhere they wash and clean, not a mote! There is also a large terrace with tables for those wishing to admire the sea at the very top. Beach own, in front of the hotel, concrete buns. There is also a part on the pebbly side with "dream" sunbeds.

I will especially note the issue of nutrition. Payment includes breakfast, so I'm pleasantly surprised! The dining room is located in the “Dream”, which is on the 2nd line, there are 2 ladies, in culinary uniforms, hair tucked under starched caps, hands without rings, clean from and to! In that SES canteen you can take flushes, such cleanliness! They cook deliciously, the portions are large, sometimes they took away with them what they could not eat. If you do not eat porridge, they will replace it with something alternative. For example, I changed pancakes  , my friend-porridge for cheesecakes. This is no problem. Everything is very tasty and just cooked, lazy dumplings took me at the time of my childhood! You can order lunch and dinner, for a fee, lunch costs 60 UAH. They did this a couple of times, the food is ordinary and, again, everything is freshly prepared. But it is not very convenient to be tied to time. Many times we dined and dined in the "Atlantic", there are very tasty restaurant dishes!
Of the minuses: the bed turned out to be soft for me, on the sofa (there is a double hard sofa in the room) is also not very comfortable. But this is purely individual. The steps up to the park are very steep, often a metal rod as a railing. If you are leaving home by minibus, then please be 150-200 meters up with a suitcase and take the stairs to the stop, the pleasure is below average. In this matter, the administrator helped us, a taxi to the station (for a bribe to the taxi driver, of course).
Yes, about the treatment facilities, a friend warned us in advance that there was no smell on line 1. Indeed, when the wind, nothing is heard. In calm weather, "aromas" are occasionally heard. In this regard, "Dream-2" is in an advantageous position. And next to the treatment plant there is a huge super hotel (we considered it as an option before the trip), smells, for sure, around the clock.
In general, Santa Barbara is not a place for the elderly and children, getting injured “on one or two”, steps and beach buns are incompatible with children's recreation. You will not find entertainment, there are a couple of restaurants, there are no dances and parties. This is a quiet beach holiday area for those who wish to hide from the big society, to acquire peace of mind in comfortable conditions. Well, “Dream-2” has become a cozy temporary home for me and my girlfriend! Thanks everyone!
