The launched inexpensive boarding house in the village of Massandra is a beautiful view, a lot of green untidy plantings on a rather large territory, clean air, and a cloudy sky. Visited mid Aug. 2009. Rooms without repair (standard), everything is dilapidated (you have to be prepared for this), hot water on schedule, in the shower in slippers. Food on schedule in the pans. dining room, the menu was very reminiscent of a pioneer camp / kindergarten... childhood. Porridges, meatballs, soups, compotes, evening yogurt. . . everything is simple and delicious! The daily routine was built like this: by 8.30 for breakfast, already in swimsuits and flippers =), then running to the funicular to be among the first to take a place on the pebble beach, around 12.30 again running to the funicular for lunch. after lunch, the funicular did not work, so there was a quiet hour, or a 30-minute walk down to the beach, or a trip to Yalta (taxi is on duty at the entrance, or you can take a minibus to the center of Yalta market) Dinner at 18.30. There is NO evening entertainment at the boarding house. The only cafe that deserves criticism because of the service staff + local crooked billiard tables... or checkers =) 2-3 new people "come" to the "discotheques", but no one stays... But the music screams from all night of the neighboring hotel, mostly for some reason, Jasmine... On the territory of the boarding house there is a pharmacy, a shop - you can buy water and... toilet paper =) + little things. I want to warn you right away, if you catch a cold, don’t treat yourself with Ukrainian medicines, they don’t help, just in case, take it with you (for example, arbidol). Excursions can be ordered at the entrance to the dining room, we went to Bakhchisaray (for the whole day), see the fountain of tears... + the ancient city of Chufut-Kale... + for a boat trip + Swallow's Nest... in the sense of organizing a trip, everything is wonderful ! The palaces looked on their own, but in 2 weeks they did not have time to see everything, they will have to return.
The beach is divided into 3 parts, 1 cleaned from stones, and 2 not.
The first two weeks "floundered" out of ignorance on the stone part... and sunbathed, nestled between the stones... Sun loungers for money, there is a toilet, booths, grocery stores, cafes. We went to the market in Yalta for fruit, there is a "spring" above the boarding house, on the way to a real grocery store =) The course was 1g = 4.5 rubles. Communication, it is profitable to buy a local SIM card with an egg and talk with your homeland for 10 minutes for 50 rubles. Among vacationers, 90% are Ukrainians = couples with children, the rest = Belarusians, Russians.

Conclusion: suitable for budget living and even recommended.
