I just arrived from the Gorny sanatorium, I rested there for only five days from September 21 to 25.2009 (before that I was on a tour in another boarding house). I bought a ticket in Kyiv. I lived in a single room in the first building with partial amenities (room 506) - this is on the very last fifth floor (so if it is problematic to walk up the stairs, it is better to ask for a lower floor). For me, this was not a problem, and as a reward, the room had a very beautiful view of the sea, the room itself is quite simple, the furniture is a little old, but the bed linen, towels, curtains in the room are all modern and hide the impression of the furniture. In the room - a washbasin, a refrigerator (small and old, but worked properly), a TV, a bed, a chair, an armchair on the balcony, a table and all sorts of little things (a decanter, glasses, an opener). Shower and toilet - on the floor and did not observe the queue anywhere, so I did not experience much discomfort from this - for five days, it's normal. Cleaned every day, no complaints about cleaning. The only negative is the high audibility in these rooms, because all have open balconies and you can hear every rustle. Meals - (I don’t make a cult of food) I had the usual one and I really liked it, but those who wished could take improved food for extra. fee. But personally, I didn’t see the point in this for myself, because. I liked everything in the usual diet (there was fish, and squid, and red caviar, fruits and vegetables were also in sufficient quantities); I don’t eat cutlets, so I can’t say anything about their quality, I always ordered either fish, or chicken, or meat (but not cutlets). Treatment - I can’t say anything, because. I didn’t even waste time on this, but those who went responded positively. Entertainment - a disco three times a week (the music is always the same and in a style like disco of the 80s... ), but people are quite actively dancing... The rest of the days they showed movies. There are also two bars on the territory (they worked only in the evenings) and another one on the sea: somehow I didn’t really like the bar near the first building, I often went to the bar near the dining room and to the bar on the sea - the prices both there and there are quite normal, oh I can’t say anything about the quality of food, because I ordered only ice cream or mussels - I liked everything. Excursions - I didn’t go on bus excursions (almost everywhere I was, and the programs of the proposed excursions didn’t impress me at all). I liked walking tours more - in the afternoon around the sanatorium - both along the Tsar's path and on various nearby mountains - very interesting, not a bad load (especially after lunch), beautiful nature. Beach - you can go down by cable car, if it does not work due to bad weather, then a bus picks up from the beach according to the schedule. I didn’t really like the beaches themselves - they are very small and rocky, but in principle you can swim, I was in September and there weren’t as many people as in the high season, so I didn’t feel any problems with taking places. Getting to the beach is also not difficult.
In general, I liked everything very much, I didn’t want to leave at all, and given that I basically don’t like to go to the same place twice, I would love to go here again.
