My wife and I rested at the Yalta-Intourist Hotel from September 28 to October 2.2017. We decided to visit the Crimea and have a rest with all the amenities, saunas, pools and other delights. The choice, of course, stopped, like many others, at this particular hotel. Plus a pool with warm water 28 gr. in winter and summer, rich infrastructure, a zoo, a free transfer and all that, but as it turned out, not everything is as beautiful as it is presented on the site and in commercials. I'll start in order. As it turned out, the hotel has free tours, they are held on Tuesdays and Fridays, it would seem only a plus, but in fact it turned out to be quite the opposite. To say that it was an excursion along the Sunny Path to Livadia is loudly said, although we were assured at the Concierge Service that you will have a guide, we will walk only 3 km and not 6 km, that is, half of the path, the one that is more or less equipped , but in fact they brought us by bus right to the very beginning or to the very end if you count from the Lydian Palace. A girl came out, the one that drove away from the hotel with us, and here it turns out that she is not a guide, but just a guide who will lead us along the trail to Livadia and asked us to hurry so we have everything about everything for 1.5 hours, and immediately ran to in front of down the mountain. This is a trick we thought, because we were told at the Concierge service that even the elderly go on such an excursion and it’s not a problem for them to walk 3 km. Yes 3 km but not 6 km in 1.5 hours!!! ! Okay, we thought and began to keep up with her. In the middle of the way, a group of 8 people broke up into three subgroups - the 4th with a guide, the 2nd visiting us and the 2nd lagging behind. While we were winding around the turns and seeing the tail of the first group, we felt calm until we got to the roadway and realized that the ladder was over, and the first group of 4 people with a guide was gone. While we were looking for where the guide had gone with the first group, a lagging group of 2 people caught up with us and also ran into the road along which cars drive. As it turned out later, the path breaks here and you need to cross the roadway, jump over the parapet and continue on your way, this was explained to us by a passing taxi driver, who then took us to Livadia. In Livadia, we met with our guide and she was not even surprised at all and made an imperturbable face, saying - “what happened, well, they didn’t wait, they fell behind, and now what! ”. This is how to forget, lose and not wait for 4 people from a group of 8 people for guides "tour guides" of a 4-star hotel, this is normal. Don't see me for free tours!!!!

Now about the number. There is a telephone in the room. Sometimes it seemed to us that this was just for the beauty of the interior. No, of course it works, but it's simply impossible to get through to the hotel staff using it. The handsets hang up after a couple of seconds of ringing. I had to call from a cell phone and spend money on roaming! The concierge had to ask for an ashtray for three days. Without waiting for her for two hours, I just started knocking the ashes into a glass. And what was my surprise when the next day I came in the evening and saw that they had not brought me an ashtray, but simply washed a glass (an impromptu ashtray) and left it on a table on the balcony. Turning to the concierge, I heard the answer - "yes, just knock the ashes into a glass and that's it !!! " Good laugh! But then, when they stopped emptying the glass of cigarette butts, my surprise knew no bounds !!! ! Towels are generally a circus. In the room, in the bathroom it says to replace the towels just throw them on the floor. We did just that - we quit. In the evening, miraculously, the same dirty towels (there were traces of lipstick) were neatly folded on the towel dryer. We threw towels on the second day, and no longer tried our luck, before leaving we reminded the concierge that we would like to replace the towel, and we threw them on the floor as prescribed in the bathroom. After that, the towel was replaced, though out of the four that were missing three, but this is nothing, the main thing is that they are clean, or rather CLEAN one hung in the bathroom!

Now about the tour desk, which is located in the main building of the hotel. Tours cost twice as much. For one excursion from one person at least 2000 rubles. What did we think and took a couple of excursions. We lived in Green Park, in their new building, about 500 meters from the main building in a straight line and about a kilometer if along the path. Ride golf carts. The tour started at 8.10 am (we went to Sevastopol). We had a quick breakfast and went to the stop where these Golf carts are at 8.00. It turns out that at night and until 9.00 cars drive extremely rarely, there are only 2 of them. We realized that if we wait, we will be late and went on foot. On 8.10 we were near the bus, where everyone was waiting for us with displeasure. It would seem why, because we arrived exactly 8.10 as indicated in the tickets. Heard a lot of forest words about yourself! It would seem that what's the matter because we arrived on time. And then it turns out that the tour starts at 8.00 and they already wanted to leave without us. Everything calmed down after I showed the ticket and demanded a refund if they continue in the same spirit. The money is not small for two 6000 rubles. Citizens do not see each other on such excursions. It is better to go out into the city and take the same tour with the same guide for half the price. The hotel winds up 50%, and then it also incorrectly indicates the start time. In Yalta, every taxi driver is the same guide as we got. We were convinced from personal experience, I just decided to take a taxi to the Swallow's Nest, so for 1200 round trip they told us the whole story of Yalta and the creation of the swallow's nest. In the tour desk, such a tour of Yalta costs 1.500 rubles. per person and on the Swallow's Nest 2000 rubles. You decide what is better and more profitable!
Well, in the end, the impression was completely spoiled. Transfer! Yes, the free transfer is the one that attracts and attracts to this hotel. After all, from Simferopol to the hotel to go almost 2 hours. Taxi drivers take from 2000 to 4000 rubles. These prices I found out later. But now in order.

And what a surprise we had when we were told that it was already 12.02 and our twelve-hour transfer had already left without us! Late by 2 minutes. Think for TWO MINUTES!! ! The girl, after my dissatisfied words, answered that yes, the bus leaves exactly at 12.00. Of course, I understand everything that time, schedule, but a person’s clock may be behind, and in the end, a person is not a machine, but he can simply linger somewhere, for reasons beyond his control. An error of 5 minutes must be required!! ! And in the end they could call, because they gave phones! The hotel management, if you are reading this review now, then you should at least be ashamed of this oversight with the transfer. Shame on you! It is a shame to declare everywhere and everywhere that you have 4 stars. For me, it’s like an ordinary private hotel by the sea with the owner Aunt Glasha !!!
