I recently returned from a vacation in the Yalta military sanatorium. The information posted on the website of the sanatorium is fully consistent with reality, read - everything is so. Quiet, peaceful place a stone's throw from the city center (to the Embankment - 15 minutes walking distance). The living conditions are excellent, I had a room on the 3rd floor, overlooking the park, north side, so it’s not hot, I never turned on the air conditioner, the room is spacious, with high ceilings, with modern furniture and renovation, without unnecessary odors. Meals-public catering, but all my 10 days - varied, I won’t say that it’s tasty, but quite tolerable and expected for a dining room, I wasn’t hungry, and I didn’t hear any complaints from other vacationers. The pebble beach is excellent (! ): own, clean, well-groomed, the guards are very polite, sun loungers are paid (20 UAH per day - they took a coupon in the sanatorium), but you can do without them - the pebbles are pleasant, ice cream, drinks - everything is on the territory beach. The sea is fabulous (! ): clear azure water, waves, VERY beautiful! The entire staff of the sanatorium is very polite, pleasant, unobtrusive, there was no rudeness at all from anyone (! ). The disadvantage of rest in Yalta can be considered the location of its own beach - far away, we walked along a long, but more or less gentle road and it took 40 minutes. (with a calm walking pace), although the time passed unnoticed and the road was interesting (through the city lanes of Yalta), with "sedentary" work it was an excellent workout. Other vacationers took a shorter route, but more abruptly, and it took 20-25 minutes of walking (I never walked), and most of the vacationers used the free bus service to the beach (10-15 min. ), but there were a lot of complaints about deviations from the schedule, besides, the bus schedule was inconvenient for me and I calmly focused only on my time (the first shift in the morning the bus departed at 8.45, and back at 12.30 (I left at 11.00) , and in the evening from the beach - at 17.10-17.30 (I left around 19.00). Summing up, we can say that if you are looking for a calm, quiet vacation in the very center of Yalta, with comfortable living conditions, I recommend this resort, you just need to tune in to the distance of the beach and turn this disadvantage into a plus (if health allows long walks in mountainous areas). Thank you very much to the staff of the resort for a pleasant stay!
