We spent wonderful March holidays in this hotel. The room is beyond praise - 2 TVs (42 inches below, 21 inches above), bar counter, refrigerator, leather corner sofa, 2 bathrooms, bathrobes. Room rates include breakfast made to order and access to the swimming pool. If you want to have lunch or dinner, fresh products are purchased for you by prior order and prepared and served at the cafe or in the room at the agreed time (no surcharge). The entrance to the room is directly from the street, there is a stunning park around, there are practically no people at this time, which emphasizes the special intimacy of the Rotunda. As an alternative, a much more expensive and pretentious Seaside Park was booked, but having paid there for a day, we preferred the Rotunda. By the way, there were no problems with early check-in and late check-out, and there was not even a mention of surcharges, unlike the same Seaside Park. It was cool in Yalta, even snow was falling, so the heaters could not sufficiently heat the entire volume of the huge room and it was not hot on the first floor, but everything was fine on the second. The hotel is located on the territory of the Rossiya sanatorium, and we got into some kind of reshuffling in its management, which resulted in strange tightening of the access control: a taxi to the hotel was allowed only for check-in and check-out, and the gate and, accordingly, the shortest one - 7 minutes -10 - the pedestrian crossing to the Seaside Park and the embankment is almost always locked. Well, yes, these are some temporary stupidities, but we just walked more. I thought not to write about this cherished place, but it’s a sin to hide such good impressions from people, and I hope that with my review I can at least partially thank the staff and the owner of the hotel for these wonderful days. Thank you.
