I decided to write a review about this hotel (base "Transcarpathia" in Beregovo), because before the trip I could not find detailed information about it anywhere, there are very few reviews, there are no photos. And they don't even have a website. So, the hotel is very simple, an old Soviet building, though renovated. The rooms are also refurbished. There are rooms of three categories - without amenities, with amenities and suites. We stayed in a room with private facilities, paid 60 hryvnia per person. The room has a wardrobe and a TV (new), a table, a bathroom with new fixtures, a shower. The only downside is the beds. Beds are very old and sagging. The staff at the hotel is very polite, no rudeness. Any issue is resolved immediately. Documents and money can be deposited in the safe at the reception. In general, the hotel is clean. A huge plus is the closest location to the thermal pool (50 m). Actually, this was the decisive factor in choosing a hotel. So as not to go somewhere with a child steamed after the pool. In addition, the cost of the pool for vacationers of this base is 20 hryvnia for 2 baths per day, for the rest - 20 hryvnia at a time. You can also eat in the cafe of the same base (Kolos cafe). The cost of three meals a day is 60 hryvnia per person per day. We took breakfast and lunch - we were satisfied, simply, without frills, as in a Soviet canteen. And my stomach doesn't hurt. There is also parking for cars, closed - 5 hryvnia per day. It is better not to take any valuables into the pool, there is simply nowhere to store it, there are no locks on the lockers. In general, who is not picky and wants to save money - you are at the sports base "Transcarpathia".
I would also like to say a few words about the Beregovo restaurants. So, the vaunted Sherkert - this institution does not smell like a restaurant. An eatery with dirty tablecloths and mediocre food. "Lark" - luxurious, expensive and tasteless. "F'Koka" is an excellent restaurant, beautiful interior and awesome cuisine. You can get to it by taxi from Byzy for 8 hryvnia. Coffee house "Totem" - very cozy, cheap, delicious coffee and delicious cakes. Haven't been able to visit anywhere else.
