The morning began promisingly - the rain poured like a wall, it was still dark outside, the friend with whom we were supposed to go to the station together overslept. However, at the station, more friends were to be waiting - potential participants in the trip. Here is the Galician punctuality - and we run to the train, running to the second track through the first along the sleepers. We managed to catch the train - this is how our walk to Bubnishche began. Bubnyshche is a village near Bolekhov (Dolinsky district, Ivano-Frankivsk region). On its outskirts, in the tract, there is a rock-cave complex - Dovbush Rocks, named after the well-known opryshka - Oleksa Dovbush. As you know, many rocks in the Carpathians bear his name, and (according to legend, it was here in the 17-18 centuries that the opryshka had their camp), shrouded in many legends. The most famous legend is, perhaps, the one that tells about the treasures buried by Oleksa in the Carpathians, which have not yet been found. Scientists say that the Dovbush Rocks in Bubnyshche were formed more than 70 million years ago at the bottom of the sea, and acquired their present form in the 10th century. The height of this natural fortress is 80 meters, and it is located at an altitude of 668 meters above sea level. A stone labyrinth about 200 m wide stretches for about 1 km in the Carpathian forest. Therefore, getting off the train in Bolekhiv, we went for a walk in this pretty town under umbrellas, the rain, it seemed, was not going to stop at all. But we did not retreat - we asked the locals for the way to the rocks and finally ended up in the Carpathian forest. From the track, an hour of easy climbing through the forest - and we are in place, among the majestic rocks. We went from one rock to another, looked into each cave, and did not dare to climb wet rocks, which we would not advise others to do either. And yet - we rode horses! While we were wandering between the rocks, the rain stopped and the sun came out. The trip was successful!
