Summer is a great time for mountain tourism. Armed with a route map, having collected our backpacks, our company again went to the mountains in a fixed-route taxi. There are 3 days off ahead (public holidays), the weather is simply gorgeous. It will be most effective to have a rest from office work in the Carpathians. This time, the route Mount Khomyak - Mount Sinyak - Mount Maly Gorgan fell into our field of vision. Arriving at the fork in the Tatars, we started climbing. After long winter days of inactivity, the ascent was not easy. Having made a halt after an hour of climbing, we went further. Mount Khomyak differs from the Montenegrin ridge in its stone cover. Huge slippery stones, overgrown with mountain grasses, moved under our feet. It’s good that professional shoes were chosen for the road, otherwise it would be difficult to walk along such a route in a normal one. On Mount Khomyak stands a snow-white statue of the Virgin Mary. After a short rest, we moved on. The weather was good, you could see the mountain ranges far away. Unforgettable sensations from the seen nature removed the fatigue accumulated in the city from the heart. Having descended from Mount Khomyak, we saw a herd of sheep driven by a shepherd. For the first time in my life I was lucky to see these animals so close. The sun was at its zenith, the path was long, we continued to move forward. Mount Sinyak is covered with the same stones as Mount Khomyak. From the mountain there was a wonderful view of the Bukovel ski resort. After enjoying the panorama, we continued on our way. Mount Small Gorgan was given to us a little easier. Evening came and we had to go down to pitch tents. Dinner was prepared under the singing of songs. In the morning, horses and cows came to visit us and destroyed the remnants of our dinner. Having collected mountain herbs for tea, we returned home in a great mood.
