Rest in the Carpathians in summer and winter
There are many beautiful picturesque places in the Carpathians that are interesting to visit both in summer and in winter. Among the mountain ranges, the village of Tatarov is located, comfortably and reliably “covered” on all sides by mountains, creating a windless, quiet, calm space inside. The highway Lviv-Ivano-Frankivsk-Rakhiv-Uzhgorod passes 4 km from the village, which makes recreation affordable for all social strata of the population. Here, the main historical, cultural and tourist routes are concentrated. The unique location among the mountains creates a microclimate characteristic of this area.
Nearby are two large mountain peaks Sinyak (1665 m) and Khomyak (1542 m). Between themselves, these peaks are connected by an unusually beautiful pass, which attracts a large number of people who are fond of extreme mountain climbing, hiking, and those who “profess” an active, healthy lifestyle. In summer, many tourists come here, bring children from all over Ukraine, who have a rest in local camps. Unusually beautiful landscapes open from Mount Khomyak: on the one hand, the Yavornik mountain range, on the other side, a view of the most famous ski resort "Bukovel", located at the foot of Bukovel Mountain.
Spending your active holidays in the Carpathians in winter, Bukovel Group of Companies offers a full range of services: skiing on slopes of any difficulty level from November to April, a skating rink, entertainment centers for adults and children, SPA centers, snowmobile rental, a bicycle park, electric scooters . Every year various holidays, show programs, theme parties, concerts with Ukrainian stars are organized here. Many hotels, private estates are ready to receive tourists all year round. Many sites offer information about them, you can even make an online booking of a hotel you like without leaving your home. Living in private estates will be an opportunity to enjoy home cooking with natural products.
Summer holidays in the Carpathians are mainly green tourism: picking berries and mushrooms, horseback riding, fishing, rafting, climbing to the tops of nearby mountains - simply enjoying the beauty and sights of the surroundings. In Yaremche, you can visit many interesting places: the Museum named after Metropolitan Andrey Sheptytsky, the Church of Saints Peter and Paul, mineral springs, Yaremche souvenir markets, the restaurant-museum "Hutsulshchyna", Dovbush's stone and rocks, the Museum of Ethnography and Ecology of the Carpathian Territory, the waterfall "Maiden's Tears" ", Church of St. John the Merciful with a belfry (XVIII century), the Breakdown waterfall, the miracle of the Archangel Michael, Elias Church (1937). Near Tatariv, 5 km from the highway, there is a strikingly beautiful waterfall "Hook", which was formed from a shell hitting a mountain. It will also be interesting for tourists to visit the ancient church of St. Demetrius of Thessalonica (XVIII century). Tourists coming to Mykulychyn can see the Holy Trinity Church a bell tower (1868), from the nearby peaks a beautiful panorama of the village opens. In Vorokhta there is one of the longest arched viaduct bridges in Europe, on which trains still move.
