Booked two months prior to arrival. We took two houses (for 8 people in a house). We got a good discount for early booking and two cottages. Our criteria: proximity to the ski lift (it is very close, 1 min); wooden cottage, the opportunity to gather in your living room, maybe your own big company, a full kitchen. All criteria were met 100%.
I am writing from the side of a mother with a baby of 1.3 months. As you can see, the requirements were special.
Check-in took place quickly, the second cottage settled 4 hours earlier. The yard is completely fenced, and despite the active traffic, the hotel yard is quiet and calm. The other side is adjacent to the hill for training, but there are mostly children and there are always very few people, as it is away from the slopes. Near shops, cafes, restaurants, saunas, pharmacy. Only if you need baby food, bring your own.
Cottage. . . We lived in n3. It is no longer fresh, there is no smell of wood, the stairs to the 2nd floor creak terribly loudly, wakes everyone up at night, you can hear everything from behind the tree, even if they speak in a whisper in the neighboring cottage : ). The furniture is massive, wooden, old, everything creaks too. On the first floor, the entire floor is heated, tiled, there is a fireplace, but we did not use it. The kitchen has all the utensils, you don’t need to bring anything, everything is thought out to the nutcracker and the pancake pan. It blew very strongly in the corner near the refrigerator!! ! There are huge gaps in the wall. The neighbors had much less wind. On the second floor there are three bedrooms. One has two double beds, a beautiful view from the window on the slope and the Bukovel Hotel. There is tv. The second bedroom with one single bed and a view from the window directly to the track and ski lift 1. No TV. The third bedroom is the same, but the window overlooks the wall of the neighboring hotel and is quite dark in it. Each bedroom also has bedside tables (but the doors are very difficult to open) and a closet. Bed with a normal mattress (the only thing that does not creak : )), one double bed! One and a half blanket, be prepared for night fights))). bedding (change in 7 days) and towels (2 per person, change every three days) are not perfectly white, but quite decent (there were spots, but tolerable). Garbage is taken out every day, cleaning every other day (in 15 minutes the entire floor is quickly wiped with a damp cloth and fffse only in accessible places)). . ) If you are without children who crawl on the floor, pick it up and eat their apple, then this is enough . And if with the kids... on the first day I had a general cleaning, raked out age-old dust from under cabinets, tables, beds. Then every day she, like at home, washed the floors.
There is a shower / toilet on the 1st and 2nd floors, of all that can be only liquid soap and toilet paper. Water pressure is good, no problems with hot water. The heating is good, warm, but because of the cracks in the wall it was cool downstairs in the kitchen area. the second cottage is warmer.
As for the hosts... The first acquaintance with Vasil began when, after greeting him, he animatedly with obscenities began to tell what bastards lived in the cottage before us, how they demanded to change the water to clean when the floors were washed... etc))) the first ever did not say hello, just passes by without noticing. Twice they turned on questions, both times they did everything to solve nothing and quickly fell behind. When the baby needed a doctor, they called Vasil, he said that there was no doctor and he had no idea where to go. So solve all the questions yourself. Lyudmila, was engaged in cleaning, a pleasant and sweet woman, I wrote about the rest above)))
Summary))) a great place for a winter holiday : ) she outlined all the nuances so that they were ready for them. But everything, except for the creak of the stairs, can be solved in a jiffy; )
