We had a rest in the Magic of the Carpathians in January 2014. In general, the hotel is good, fairly new. We really liked the restaurant in general, had dinner several times right in it, without leaving the hotel "in people") Very tasty food, but quite expensive and mostly in the evening there are no people, almost sat in the restaurant. Breakfasts are very tasty, but the menu is always the same - 3 dishes to choose from. The children got tired of monotony. The rooms are simple, upset by the lack of such little things as, for example, a kettle in the room. In my opinion, in the room for 1100 UAH / day (at the dollar exchange rate at that time 8.2) already a teapot for 150 UAH could be put. Then - there was no glass for toothbrushes, they were stored in our bag ....Also one glass of water for everyone. My husband had a sore throat and I had to ask for a glass separately for the child in the restaurant. Problem with drying clothes - the room is heated by a battery, which says that drying things is strictly prohibited.
How they were supposed to dry after the slides is a mystery. We used the battery against the ban. Well, in principle, everything is fine ...In the city I recommend a restaurant at the hotel "Mushroom House" - prices +/- as in the Magic of the Carpathians, but the color, interior and some dishes ....mmmm ...I really liked it! By the way, they have a sign "Inspector recommends"))))! In general, I was in Bukovel for the first time, and to be honest, having spent 6 full days $ 2.000 for two adults and a 5-year-old child, I see no point in visiting this resort - all quite expensive, but not without a scoop - where possible, with the tourist will be stripped of three skins, and theirs will slip for free. The year before, they traveled (though together with her husband) to the Alps, from Italy, spent about 2.000 euros. It is clear that it would be more expensive with a child, but the difference in rest - no doubt.
