We stayed at the hotel over the weekend for a few days. In Bukovel for the first time: for verification. And what do I want to say? Firstly: Bukovel itself is a heavenly place, really the best ski resort of those where it was: the Polish and Slovak Tatras, Bulgaria, Andorra. It's just a fairy tale on another planet. Bukovel lies in the most picturesque place of the Carpathians, near Yaremche and Vorokhta, in a valley surrounded by first-class ski slopes, high-class modern lifts. On each slope there are guns at a distance of no more than 10 meters from each other. I think it is not difficult to assume that there is always snow here in winter, if the weather gives at least 0 + 2. Bukovel is such a separate fashionable town behind the barrier, where there is everything your heart desires: SPA and health centers, discos, restaurants, cafes, bars, sports grounds, children's clubs and playgrounds, bowling, etc. I think in the winter you can even go crazy there, if in the summer your hair stood on end from this! beauty and level. It makes no sense, of course, to go abroad, collect heaps of documents for a visa, change money, learn the language, if there is an opportunity to ride and relax here. There are 14 or 15 chair lifts alone, if I'm not mistaken. The trails are about 50 km long, but they are being expanded. I think there will be more in the winter. There is constantly work on the expansion of trails and descents, increasing their length. They obviously do not spare money for Bukovel. Want to have a lot of fun? Come winter and summer to Bukovel!
As for the hotel, we settled in a hotel complex on the territory of Bukovel - Blue Mountain. The hotel is just lovely, let me tell you. There is a main building with rooms, and there are separate cottages for 6 and 12 people. Everything is made of a log house, of course, which creates an additional flavor in the mountains, of course. All rooms with private facilities. There is everything you need, and a truly "alpine" panorama of the Carpathian meadows opens from the windows. The hotel is located at 920 meters above sea level. It really stands 100 meters from the main lift, illuminated at night for skiing. Up to the second lift 200 meters no more. Therefore, the location of the hotel can be regarded as "excellent". The entrance to Bukovel is quite narrow, it is one lane in one direction, therefore, one can imagine how long a person in a car will stand in line, who was advised to stay in neighboring villages in order to allegedly save money ! ! In fact, the prices in the neighboring villages and even in Polyanytsya end up being the same as in Bukovel: pay for accommodation, pay for the transfer to Bukovel back and forth (don't think it's cheap). As a result, the savings are obtained in 7 days of 50 bucks, but you will lose time that you would run into 300 bucks : )) It seems to me that you need to live in Bukovel. It is very convenient and comfortable.
In addition to the hotel: it is wonderful home cooking here (pancakes with apples are super tasty), very cozy area (many pavilions, barbecues), attentive and helpful staff, parking, wi-fi, bike rental in summer, skiing in winter, they sell ski passes with discount. I liked everything in the rooms: excellent comfortable beds and furniture, clean, good linen and towels. They clean and change linen every 3 days, if you do not ask for a sign more often, the garbage is thrown out every day. A hair dryer is provided free of charge at the reception. Previously, cottages were heated by fireplaces, which are in every cottage, and now they have also made steam heating (we lived in a cottage). Each room in the cottage has a separate TV, which is very convenient for families and companies. Uninterrupted water and electricity. In general, everything is for people! And the prices! NORMAL! , both for accommodation and for extra. services: accommodation in summer 7 dollars per person / day, in winter 30 dollars per person / day, for the new year and Christmas a little more expensive, but not off scale. Breakfast is included in the price in winter. In summer there is an additional charge. But we ate in Bukovel (Blue Mountain and Cherry) and it's okay for money for our family: breakfast - 3-4 dollars, dinner with drinks - 7-8 dollars. It seems to me that this is normal. You can buy a ski pass in Blue Mountain at a discount. In general, if you need comfort and want to spend a minimum of nerves on vacation in the Carpathians and get the most out of it, I highly recommend both Bukovel itself and the Blue Mountain hotel for individual and family vacations for skiers and beginners. You arrive and then walk with a smile of a satisfied "Cheshire cat" from such a delightful holiday!
