Yantra is not quite correct to evaluate as a hotel, because. This is not a hotel, but a retreat center. However, they are waiting for not only yogis, but also ordinary tourists, skiers, and even families with children, like us.
In general, Dragobrat is a great place for a summer holiday. The most beautiful centuries-old majestic forest, gently sloping mountains with mountain paths, lakes, berries and mushrooms, the freshest air, thick fogs in the morning. . . And all this complements a very sincere, comfortable and completely inexpensive service. The atmosphere of absolute calm, without the bustle of Truskavets or Skhidnytsia, without the sweltering heat of the Black Sea coast. But I will write about this separately. It is a pity that there are so few people here in summer. It appears that Yantra is the only hotel with more than 50% occupancy at this time.
You can get to Dragobrat in winter only by special transport. Gaz-66 or UAZ at your service. In the summer, you can easily climb in a city jeep, but I definitely wouldn’t do it in a sedan. An 11-kilometer ascent from Yasinya along a mountain road is a kind of gateway to the mountain kingdom. Not only the car remains below, but also all worries, anxieties and small thoughts.

The yantras, together with the two buildings of the Oaza Hotel, are located a little away from the center of the resort. From this place there is a separate lift, that is, you can leave and return on skis, if we are talking about winter holidays.
The rooms are small but cozy, decorated with painted wood, yantras and other original drawings. Our room had a bunk bed for four people, the first time I saw this in my life. In practice, it turned out to be quite convenient. It is a pity that there is not at least a minimal curb on top to prevent accidental falling in a dream. As a result, the children were put upstairs only against the wall, and they themselves slept away from the edge. Private balcony overlooking the slope or the enchanted forest, in my opinion, is in all rooms. Instead of a table - a log of pine with a diameter of about 70 cm, instead of stools - smaller logs. For the sake of interest, we counted the annual rings on one of the logs, it turned out that our stool is 133 years old. But sitting with a laptop on it is uncomfortable. Among the shortcomings - a creaky floor, and a light switch at such a height that only an adult can reach it. It seems like a trifle, but when a child wants to pee at night, and you sleep on the top shelf... you manage to remember a couple of swear words about the architect while you go down the stairs and turn on the light for him.
At the hotel you have to take off your shoes at the entrance, which is good. All floors, including the dining room, are either wooden or heated. Actually very nice and clean. Ski storage room with a huge owl on the wall (see photo). Next to the reception is a huge leisure room. It has a small library, a couple of tables, mats and a cinema room with a projector, in which cartoons for children were played all day long.
The food is simple, no frills, but the portions are large. Unfortunately, there are no local products on the menu, but it would be great to see mushrooms, feta cheese, lamb meat, berry compote, etc. on it. Moreover, they know how to cook meat in the kitchen. A vat of tea is constantly in the dining room, and you can come to drink tea at any time of the day. Very sincere staff, all positive, sincere, clean people.

Our next trip to Dragobrat is in winter, and I think we will settle in Yantras again.
