I had a rest in June 2017 in the sanatorium "Borzhava", we got there perfectly, we were met from the train and taken to the sanatorium by car, but the price for the transfer to the sanatorium is very high. The staff is responsive, everyone is smiling, they walked around the resort, showed the territory, everything is fine.
The medical base is very weak.
I had a one-room superior room, the TV in the room did not work initially (then they fixed it), the Internet is weak, it also works every other time. There was no kettle and elementary utensils in the room, although when booking the room, all this was declared available, but in fact it was not. The price for such a room is also overpriced, the cleaning could be better, and bed linen and towels for such money should definitely be better.
Now nutrition....this is a separate topic for conversation. Of course, you won’t die of hunger, although often I went hungry and would have eaten something else. The food is poor, a very weak assortment of dishes, they did not give fruits, sweets, few pastries, cookies, etc. at all. The cook either does not know how to cook, or he has no imagination at all, even the presentation of dishes leaves much to be desired... And let the nutritionist reconsider the norms, in other sanatoriums, with the same diet, they gave a lot of fruits, different types of meat, fish, pancakes, tea, coffee, jelly, cocoa, buns, cookies, sweets, casseroles, cheesecakes and even lard sometimes and herring...., and hard cheese and butter were for breakfast every day, and not once a week like here. All this was not here at all..... Draw conclusions....
The biggest disappointment of the resort is the large swimming pool. When I booked a ticket, the presence of a swimming pool was a prerequisite, otherwise I would have chosen another resort. Upon arrival, it turned out that the water was drained and the pool was washed, refilled with water, then heated, and all this had been going on for 8 days, in fact the pool was not working. This is a big downside....
It remains only to enjoy nature, which is of course beautiful here.
