Hello!
Further I will write according to the scheme: "Information on the site is a reality. " But for starters, I agree with all the reviews left except for the phrase: "The cuisine is delicious, Hutsul, it feels like everything is done on home-made products. The staff is very friendly. " Either this review was left by vacationers when another cook and another administrator worked at the hotel, or I don’t know : ) the concept of "Kitchen is delicious" and this hotel is further apart than the planets Earth and Jupiter. About the administrator (and we realized that he is the Owner in general, if only the administrator, then it’s easier - you can replace it) below. I’ll clarify right away: I have been to the Carpathians more than once, I love the Carpathians very much for many reasons. And to everyone who says, like "zapadentsi - Benderovtsi hate us" (and I'm from the Donetsk region, I live half my life in Kharkov, I know many Russians and, for those who don't know everything, "zapadentsi" - "Benderovtsi"), so on these provocative statements I have always defended the inhabitants of the Carpathians. Precisely because I communicated with these wonderful, sincere, hospitable, hard-working people. And few people know the history of this region : )
And now the specifics.

On the site: "Hotel "Stozhary" is located in a picturesque place of the Carpathians, in the Kosovo district of the Ivano-Frankosk region. " Reality (real in the future): true. More precisely, the village of Roztoky is located on the border of Ivano-Frankivsk and Chernivtsi regions. The border is the Cheremosh River. Beautiful, swift, unpredictable mountain river! We lived on the 2nd floor of the hotel and the river was not visible from our room, but it was very audible! The hotel is surrounded by mountains. From the balcony of our room (and we were lucky: a large corner balcony overlooking two sides) the Nemchich Pass was visible in the distance. If you have a good camera, then in the zoom mode you can even take a picture of a hotel under construction and the supports of the ski lift.
On the website: ". . . rooms. . equipped with: satellite TV. . . ". Real: 4 channels, of which one normally shows.
Restaurant-bar:
1. On the site: "The dishes of our restaurant will appeal to both a true gourmet and just a lover of a tasty and satisfying meal. " Real: The kitchen is disgustingly tasteless. The simplest dishes are prepared in less than an hour. OK. You can wait an hour. But it's still completely tasteless. Even from hunger.
2. On the site: "A cozy atmosphere with Hutsul flavor and authentic furniture. Sections for 4 persons (in total, the restaurant is designed for 18 seats). A large TV for broadcasting interesting events (news, football matches). " It's true. But the site is not just reviews of individuals. Individuals in a hurry can afford some typos (may, but not desirable). After all, the main thing for a review of a service is not so much literacy as the essence. By the way, the site did not find a form for reviews. Either this form does not exist, or I am inattentive). The website is the face of the hotel on the Internet. You can also write well. All quotes are presented as on the site.
3. On the site: "Bar counter with an extensive menu of spirits and cocktails. " -Real: there is a bar counter, alcoholic drinks too. As for the extensive menu (bar) - a lie. And the "Extensive menu of cocktails" - firstly, not from anything, and secondly, there is simply no one to cook. Why? Read on and you will understand.
4. On the site: "The cost of food in our restaurant:
For guests, we offer ready-made food packages:
Breakfast (BB) – 25 UAH/person
Breakfast and dinner (HB) – 90 UAH/person
Breakfast, lunch and dinner (FB) – 150 UAH/person

At the same time, we accept individual orders according to the system: "today for tomorrow". Real: the cost is true. Almost. If you agree with the completely tasteless menu. A professional chef never came close. However, like a professional bartender, waiter. And "their hotel" chef has no taste. At all. The order according to the "today-tomorrow" system is also true, because Meals are cooked for at least an hour. Order today and it will be ready tomorrow. And still disgustingly tasteless. On the last day we were served "sandwiches" with cheese (in quotation marks, because the word "sandwich" in translation means literally "bread and butter"). It was: bread, store-bought "mayonnaise", spoiled (sticky, bitter) cheese.
On the site: "Billiards "American"". Who plays billiards, he will understand : ): "American" is one of the varieties of playing Russian billiards. Real: pool table. There is no marking on the table. From one pocket, the balls fall to the floor (the pocket is full of holes). There are sawdust on the table. When the administrator Yury Yuryevich (or is it the director? or the owner? ) was told that there were sawdust on the table, he was struck by the answer: "So they drink beer there. " (I don’t have Ukrainian on my computer, in fact, the administrator’s answer was in Ukrainian and subsequent staff answers will be mainly translated from Ukrainian-Polish into Russian). Cue - 3 pieces: 1st - more or less (we will not find fault), 2nd - the sticker has the shape of a comma, the center is completely wiped off, pieces of the sticker are on the edges; 3rd - there is no sticker at all.
On the site: "Sauna". Real: after billiards and tennis (I didn’t find tennis in this edition of the site, so I won’t write about it) they were even afraid to look.
On the site: "Ponds with fish. " Real: there are ponds. 2 pcs. Even from the balcony of the room you can see what a cool fish swims there. A feast for the eyes! Standing near the pond, they could not understand the reason for the presence of oil stains on the water. But what a fish!
On the site: "Parking for cars. " Real: there is parking. The courtyard is large, so (considering the number of rooms) there is enough parking space even if all the vacationers arrive by car.
On the site: "Pavilions and barbecue grills on the shore of the pond. " Everything is in abundance. Beautiful wooden gazebos. It's so nice to sit in them: at least during the day for an interesting book, at least for dinner in the evening. The pavilions are just wonderful!

On the site: "Children's playground". Real: there is a sandbox with an umbrella (you must admit, with the scorching mountain sun, an umbrella is even very handy! ), a swing, a playground so that the kids just run around in front of their parents. In general, the site without complaints, really good.
On the site: "Mountain bike rental". Real: There are 3 bicycles. When we were resting, we met a very nice couple (the people of Kiev). A man is a cyclist (not a profession, but a hobby). Therefore, I will retell his tolerant review: “I looked at all three bicycles, took a set of keys from Yuri Yuryevich (administrator? owner? director? ), twisted one bike. Well, you can ride. But I don’t advise you. ”
On the site, the descriptions of the rooms are fully consistent with reality (clarifications for satellite TV are written above). Good bed linen, two sets of towels (3 each). It looks like the hotel is new. True, upon check-in we were very surprised: an underused roll of toilet paper and no soap! I turned to Yuri Yuryevich (administrator? owner? ): ". . . we don't have soap in the room. " Answer (translated into Russian): "Yes, we have lowered the prices anyway. But, if you want, you can buy both soap and shampoo from us. " We refused shampoo (we took it with us, because I am very scrupulous about hair care, skin care, etc. , so we had everything with us, except for soap). And I convinced my husband (and he is in the Carpathians for the first time) that there is soap in any hotel! Why take it with you? Imagine my state in this situation. Confusion is not even due to the fact that she convinced her husband of something that is not really there (well, in fact, soap is always available in any decent hotel). Confusion because of how rosy-beautifully I described the inhabitants of the Carpathians. The proverb is true: in every flock there is a black sheep. We bought soap from Yuri Yuryevich for 5 UAH. (in the supermarket this costs 2.50). A trifle, of course, but the fact itself... And in our room, the shower (shower tray) was leaking. Apparently, the installation was incorrect or the siphon burst. But after taking a shower, the water leaks. The floor in the bathroom is made with a slope and as a result, when some time after taking a shower, someone goes to the toilet, then their feet become just in a puddle. If you do not take into account this small nuance, then the room is wonderful (5th room. Photo on the website: 2nd floor in sunny orange tones). The sliding wardrobe, however, is made in a stupid way: it hangs on the upper rails, and there are no rails at the bottom and the shutters “walk hard”, there are no limiters either. But this doesn't bother the holidaymakers. Rather, these are the problems of the owners, that due to some elementary flaws, the plinth will become completely unusable in a couple of months, i. e. cabinet doors will no longer "knock" on the plinth, but break the wall. By the way, in front of the shower is a very nice rug with a pattern of legs (feet). Mentally. : ) I really liked this little nuance. The room looks even better in real life than in the photo. Another nuance: when we bought the tour, there was one information on the site, but now it’s a little different, that is, the site was “moderated” : ). Those. like when writing this review. When I looked at the site for the first time (before buying), it was written that there are paid laundry services. Now this information is not available. But I read that these services exist! I had to buy powder in the village store and wash it in the shower tray. Fortunately, the room has both a washbasin and a "blockage" tray.
On the website: "There is no refrigerator in the room, but you can use the refrigerator in the restaurant on the ground floor.

The receptionist always has a hair dryer and an iron. " Real: they didn't ask. They did without these services. Although, because of the obscenely disgusting cuisine (at a completely immodest price), they made purchases every day in a rural store (10-15 minutes walk from the hotel, as you exit the gate, turn left. ) The shop has sincere people working there.
On the website: "In addition, there is an ashtray in the room. " Real: there is an ashtray, two glasses too. But you can't smoke in the room. The administrator (director? , owner? , in short, Yuri Yuryevich) immediately warns about this. And it's good that you can't. I smoked on the balcony, but if the door is not completely closed, then the smoke in the room is drawn in and everything is "smoky" even from one smoked cigarette. Therefore, the ban on smoking in the room is right!
Entertainment.
(Winter options, such as skiing, I skip, because we rested in June).
On the site: "Hiking excursions to the valley, to the Hutsul families with lunch (Hutsul cuisine)". Real Madrid: They didn't ask. But (although this does not apply to the hotel at all, however, it may interest you), almost opposite the hotel (you exit the gate - a little to the right) there is a yard with evidence. We wanted to buy some Carpathian honey (1 l. ) from the owners. I won’t describe everything, but we were charged 100 UAH if we have a jar with us (in Kharkiv at the market (not at the beekeeper’s yard, but at the market! ) I I bought 1 liter for 60 UAH). I also heard (and my hearing is normal) how the son of the owners said to his mother, looking at us: "Russians" (this is literally). So this is how to understand: if we (citizens of Ukraine from Kharkov) came to the beekeeper (citizen of Ukraine from the Carpathians) to buy honey, then we (if we politely address not in Ukrainian-Polish but in the "central Ukrainian" dialect) need such an unrealistic price to break, so as not to simply send, but they themselves left? Here, for the second time, I felt ashamed in front of my husband: he was in the Carpathians for the first time, and I (I had been to the Carpathians more than once) told him what wonderful people live here (in the Carpathians).

On the website: "Automobile tours". Real: do not look at the link for car tours. A real excursion (from a hotel with a beautiful car drive into the yard : )) is one and conducted by Vasily Mikhailovich - a taxi driver and a guide in one person. Price - 300 UAH/car. We traveled as a group of four, slightly expanded the tour, so it cost a little more. But don't be sorry!! ! For SUCH an excursion it is not a pity at all. Even WITHOUT excursions, such distances are more expensive! Furthermore! This Yuri Yuryevich (administrator? owner? ) Vasily Mikhailovich (taxi driver-guide) needs to pay extra interest for such a magnificent excursion. If not for this wonderful excursion (thank you, Vasily Mikhailovich), then there would be nothing to do in this hotel for 5 days / 4 nights, regardless of the picturesque landscape and fresh air. If you are going to Stozhary, you MUST visit a car tour with Vasily Mikhailovich (I really hope that I was not mistaken with my name and patronymic, and if I was mistaken, I sincerely apologize). Auto - old white Mitsubishi. Looks deplorable. Don't judge at first sight. An animal, not a machine! Trust me, you won't be disappointed. Vasily Mikhailovich a separate BIG HUMAN THANK YOU. If someone who reads this review goes to Stozhary, send the warmest greetings from Kharkiv residents (excursion 18.06).
On the site: "Let's go to Hoverla". Real: this Yuri Yuryevich (now I know how to call a bad person and an outright miser, so as not to obscene) answers simply: "That's far away. It's too expensive. " It's really not close. If you don’t believe me, then look at the map: where with. Roztoki, and where is the city of Hoverla. So why post on the site?
On the site: "Museum of Pysanka in Kolomyia". Real: in Kolomyia there really is a unique museum of Pysanka. Hoverla is also unique (a little less than the Pysanka Museum). But also far away. Get to Kolomyia by bus. From the hotel to the bus on foot about 40 minutes. If you are on your own car, then, of course, it is easier. But even if you are on your own car, we still highly recommend going on an excursion with Vasily Mikhailovich.
On the site: "Horse riding". Real: Yuri Yurievich said that only in winter. Probably (as other vacationers wrote in their review), the horses are resting at the resort : ).
On the site: "Picking berries". Real: well, go to the mountains, look for where to seep through the local fences with a disembodied spirit (because fences are everywhere, it only seems from the outside that the mountains are open and free), negotiate with the owners and their dogs so that through their land go through (don’t be too scared, I’m exaggerating, go calmly, because the owners are adequate, the main thing is not to touch the property (grass and hay are also property! ). You will behave normally - neither the owners nor the dogs, most likely, You won't even see it, they (the owners) will see you. : )). Gather your berries.
On the site: "Collecting mushrooms". Real Madrid: Don't even try in June. useless. In the Carpathians (climate features) mushrooms can be picked from about the end of July.

On the site: "Rafting on the Cheremosh". Real: Yuri Yurievich said that it costs 300 UAH. from a person. We did not count on this amount (600 UAH for two) on this trip, so there is no review. And Cheremosh, of course, is cool! Who knows the feeling of "feeling the water, communicating with the water", he will understand the indescribable abundance of emotions, touching his (Cheremosh) waters. For whom the previous sentence is nonsense, then the Cheremosh is a very swift, beautiful and changeable river.
On the site: "Fishing on the lake. " Real: there are stocked ponds with gorgeous fish. They even give spins. One spinning is normal, the 2nd - the float is not installed correctly. This is not the point. Only fish are fed in stocked broods. And she (the fish) wanted to chhat on your baited hooks. In general, this divorce scheme with stocked ponds is also present here (in the Kharkiv region). Need a fish? Pay. And she (fish) you will have from this pond.
Everything on the site.
Getting there, if not by car, is not so easy. The site has detailed information, so I will not quote. I repeat: if you are not in your car, read the information on how to get there carefully! There is a phrase "From Vyzhnitsa to the hotel can be reached by taxi, ~ 70 UAH car. " (Good advice: When you reach Vyzhnitsa, call this... Yuri Yuryevich and order a car. Believe me, you won’t lose money, but you will definitely win in terms of preserving your nervous system). When we booked the hotel, this phrase was not on the website. Was similar. BUT! It looked a little different. In terms of meaning, respectively, it was also perceived differently. When we booked the tour (with prepayment), we were sent a confirmation letter: ". . . for additional questions related to the transfer, please contact the administrator of the Stozhary Hotel - 0675383322 Yuri Yurievich... " And here I will tell you in detail so that you didn’t get pierced, as happened with us and with another couple we met. I think before changing the text of the site, we were not the only ones in this regard.

We went by regular bus to Vyzhnitsa (as stated on the website). Unloaded with things. We asked the locals how to get to the village of Roztoky. We were pointed to the bus we got off. They asked the driver. Indeed: the bus goes through the village of Roztoky. We loaded back and drove off (however, not sitting, but standing, and a man a little dirtier than me was standing a little higher than me. Also, like everyone else, he was sweating a lot in the heat. With the difference that his really dirty drops of sweat dripped on me (This is not an exaggeration! Sweat itself is colorless, transparent. And brown-brown drops dripped on me. ) We drive through the village of Roztoky (it turns out to be a rather big village) and the driver asks the whole bus where the Stozhary hotel is in Roztoky. And no one, including the locals, knows. Rostoki ends and the driver stops the bus. We (2 people) get out, another couple (there, in "Stozhary", and also do not know where to go) and 1 local man. God bless this local resident! He realized that 4 people who were traveling with him in the same bus were looking for "Stozhary". He started asking us questions. It turned out that he "guessed" that such "Stozhary", because he knows Yuri Yuryevich. We dial Yury Yuryevich's phone and say that we are already in Roztoky. A local resident asks to transfer t cabin and informs this Yuri Yuryevich (and they are familiar with each other) that 4 people are waiting for him (the hotel administrator). He says, like, come and pick it up, you have a car. Yuri Yurievich, says that he knows nothing. We SHOULD have called from Vyzhnitsa and THEN he would have sent a taxi for us. And so... "I don't know anything, hi zamovlyayut car. " And hung up. This local, who voluntarily volunteered to help us, after talking with Yuri Yuryevich, looked at us SO, as if it were his own fault that we were standing 6 km away. from the hotel and we don’t know where to go and what number to call the car. In general, thanks again to this kind local resident. He did not leave us until after walking around the yards (this is not a busy street of the city - this is a village. There are NO cars! ), He found someone to agree to take us. We're not free! But! Where can you find a taxi in a remote village? Where to call? To the bell? On the rail? So there is no place to take them! I beg your pardon for the breaking slang, but it is generally difficult to speak about Yuri Yuryevech (administrator? director? owner? hotel) in literary and not abusive terms. Another kind person brought us to the hotel. Paid off. We went into the yard. Heat. We are tired from a long journey. Sweaty, all clothes stick to the body. We finish the last water with greedy sips. Hungry. I open the door to the hotel. A young smiling girl comes out (does not let her on the threshold). I - to her (with a smile, as friendly as I can in this situation): "
- Good day! Do you accept guests?
- Yes, we accept. . Contagion. Check it out.
A man comes out of the building behind us with a confident step (as we found out later, this is the same Yuri Yuryevich (administrator? director? owner? ). His first phrase: "And who? ". I don’t want to describe further. It’s disgusting. two couples of people arrive who have booked two rooms for that day in a hotel that even the locals don’t know about, does he (administrator? director? owner? ) greet people like that?? ? And he does not know (after a call 20-30 minutes before) that exactly 4 people came to this hotel, and the only ones who came that day)?

But that's not all. And the lack of soap in the room - that's not all. The waiter-bartender (the same pretty smiling girl who did not let us on the threshold of the PAID hotel, Marysya, it seems) on the same day tried to cheat us TWICE when we, hungry, ordered a meal. "Hutsul cuisine"... Yes, real good Hutsul housewives will choke with shame if they find out that in this hotel they call "real Hutsul cuisine". You can talk about servicing this naive kind of smiling Marys for a long time. But it's better not to. Only a small nuance. We ordered the first course and the second. The fact that the weight of the dishes, even in the eyes of an inexperienced person in the field of catering, does not correspond to the weight indicated on the menu, we will also miss. This Marysia brought the first and second courses at the same time. When I gently remarked that it is better to serve the second dish when the first is eaten, she... tried to argue with me. Here I could not stand it. Not only do you have to wait at least an hour for elementary dishes (this is not a bartender-waiter of wine, but a cook). Not only did she try to cheat us before, naively batting her eyes, smiling charmingly, COUNTING TWO TIMES. Not only are there spices on the tables (well, not spices - pepper and salt), but you can’t get them: the holes are clogged tightly, and when I cleaned the holes with a toothpick, it turned out that the only salt and pepper were those that closed the holes . So she also argues that the first and second courses are served at the same time !! ! I could not stand it and simply said: "Stop. Don't argue with me. Just keep in mind for the future: the second courses are served after the first is eaten. Because otherwise the second will cool down. Okay? " Marysia smiled a naive smile, saying "Good" and left. When the husband ate the first, the second was hopelessly cold.
And further. The room was cleaned on the second day of our stay. And that's it. Rubbish, lack of toilet paper (when we checked in there was a very modest balance on the roll), the administration and hotel staff did not care. According to the reviews of the hotel neighbors, they have exactly the same situation.
Summary: if you want to relax in the Carpathians for a couple of days and you arrived in your car (maybe even you with children) - this hotel will suit you (take food, soap, toilet paper with you. Especially food! Adults will suffer, but the child needs not only tasty, healthy, but MOST IMPORTANT - fresh food). Do you want to relax for a longer period, enjoying the fresh air and beautiful views of the Carpathian Mountains, the wonderful Cheremosh River, a good room, and are also ready to calmly treat the extremely unpleasant (but trying to be polite) Yuri Yuryevich, you are completely indifferent to the taste of food, or you are ready to drive eat 50 km. from the hotel, or eat exclusively "dry rations" - this hotel will also suit you. But we won't go there again!
Once again, THANK YOU to our wonderful tour guide Vasily Mikhailovich. This is the only person we would be glad to see again. All the best to him and his family! Also, sincere thanks to the local resident for not leaving us in the middle of the road. May God give him good people on the Path of life! Let others help him and his family many times more than he helped us!

Even when checking into the hotel, I was struck by the requirement to fill out a questionnaire. Well, if they ask for a passport, that's understandable. Why the graph: "Who do you work. "? I came to rest or came to the tax office? The unemployed, damn it, came to organize the assassination of President Kennedy.
