We rested (eat) from 29.12. 11. -04.01. 12. In one room (standard) mother-in-law with my son, in the other (standard +) I am with my wife and daughter.
I would like to believe that the owner of the ECO resort is trying to provide service and comfort for his guests, but either there is not enough money, or there is not enough taste, or experience. I don't understand at all. It seems like everything is not bad, but some seemingly trifles cross out all the pluses! Especially when you paid about 1800 $ for 6 days of stay, and this pancake does not include anything except sq. m. in which you are trying to fall asleep, but it is difficult to do so. zero soundproofing! It feels like the neighbors are not behind the wall, but with you in the room. And they don’t even scream, they just talk calmly. But I was driving to nature, to the silence from the bustle of the city, and here....The minuses of the rooms start from the threshold, you take off your shoes, but there are no disposable slippers. To wash after skiing, but there is no hot water either. Of the pluses in the room are wooden walls and of course the aroma from them. There is also weak Wi-Fi (can't talk via Skype) and LCD TV with a very limited number of channels, about 10.
RESTAURANT:
This is where the problem arises as well. First you need to catch the waiter, then make an order, which is not so easy because. Most of the items on the menu are not available. And those that you have will not bring you so quickly. All in all it depends on the waiter. There are a couple of quick but, a couple is not enough for everyone to eat. Everything is cooked deliciously, except for mashed potatoes, apparently it’s a pity to add milk instead of water to mashed potatoes and a little oil would not hurt. And so everything is just delicious smoked trout, homemade sausage, lard, bread mmmmm : )
BATH:
The bath pancake looks so cool, it is so beautifully located and there is an ice hole. But as always, there is a but! You go into the bathhouse, you don’t need disposable slippers, you don’t have a disposable cap, you put it on after someone who, like you, sweated before you in the same bathhouse, but it’s unpleasant for me! I asked the bath attendant to take a steam bath (not free of charge), it would be better if I steamed myself. I go to the banya every week near Kiev and understand a little about it. They even managed to make herbal tea cold, they put honey with tea as if they had stolen it (3-4 teaspoons), and cold air blows up your legs while you sit and wonder why they charge 300 UAH per hour + attendant 150 UAH for one steaming. Those who have been in the baths of the "Banny Dvor" near Kiev will understand me.
MOUNTAIN:
I bought a ticket for 3 days, kindly show it to the guards every time you want to climb the mountain. There is no electronic turnstile, and getting a ticket out of your pocket every time with gloves is inconvenient. I quarreled with the guards because of this, they remembered then I went without problems. The chair lift is very slow, oh sooo slow! The track is unkempt, all in pits, bumps. There is little snow, the guns only work at night. The track is not illuminated, at 17:00 the lift is turned off. And then entertain yourself as you wish. And after all, I kind of came to ski, and not to plump. For example, in the Ural mountains, I rode until 22:00 with super lighting.
In general, the places are beautiful, they cook deliciously, but for $ 1800 + get + eat in a restaurant + sauna + ski rental + ski lifts = I haven’t counted the total yet, I think about $ 3000 will come out. If it were not for small children, I would go to Slovakia better. Well, we do not know how to create comfort and service.
