We were in Zveniv three times, the last time was 6 years ago and took the risk again this winter, because it was necessary to put the child on skis on a simple hill with a minimum of people.
We stayed in a two-room suite (not super euro, but quite decent) - the room is large, a huge terrace overlooking the mountains, cons - it does not interfere with changing the mattresses for newer and more comfortable ones and updating the renovation in the bathroom, but this money (1400 per day) room worth it because of the spaciousness, the view from the window and the convenience of the location (5 minutes to the ski lift and 1 minute to the restaurant without leaving the hotel). It is in this room that the audibility is not the same as in the entire hotel - you can hardly hear the neighbors.
Now for the improvements. The first and most important thing is the restaurant in the hotel itself instead of a hut separate from the hotel, which was disgusting both in terms of the quality and variety of dishes and service.

Now the restaurant has a large menu, very tasty dishes, large portions and excellent service - a rating of 10 for sure. The restaurant is cozy, warm and with a beautiful view from the panoramic windows.
Other improvements - there are adequate sober workers on the lift, and one day the lift worked only for us for a couple of hours, since there were no more people on the mountain. At the box office (UAH 200 per set per day), the choice of skis and boots has become better. The instructor was found immediately (300 UAH per hour) without any problems and quite competent to teach the basics of skiing a child in 1 day. There were very few people at the base and the hill on weekdays - no more than 10 people.
A one-time lift costs 40 UAH (the length of the lift is 800 m), half a day is 270 UAH, it would not hurt to renovate the ski lift, but this is the end of the season, so there are no complaints. The condition of the hill we found excellent, no complaints.
Definitely, Oryavchik and the Zveniv base are a very good place to come with a family for a couple of days and try skiing in a relaxed atmosphere or put children on skis. And the restaurant is really very good and practically covers the shortcomings, but, for the sake of justice, I will rate it 9 - there are still some shortcomings.
