On one of the popular recreation sites, my husband and I saw the Aratta Hotel, and got acquainted with the services that it allegedly provides. Namely: transfer to the ski lift, welcome mulled wine, free hour in the sauna, bathhouse, tasting of Transcarpathian wines, billiards, the best dishes of European, Georgian and Ukrainian cuisine, fresh beer, a bar, a restaurant, a museum of wooden churches, ski equipment rental, and much more . The room itself in the photo also looked very decent: a good bathroom, bed, refrigerator, mini-bar, Wi-Fi, satellite TV, TV, access to the balcony. We paid everything in advance (as the hotel demanded) and were happily ignorant throughout the trip.
As a result, what we have... Of course, there was not even any talk of any welcome mulled wine, the sauna does not work, the bathhouse too, the billiards have been disassembled for several months, and no one plans to collect it, the wooden museum. churches are closed, wine tasting - this was not mentioned at all, wi-fi catches only on the 3rd floor, and then in the common corridor (it was there that our comrades in misfortune spent almost all the time), lights in the corridor and on the stairs of the 4th floor and no, you need to make your way in the darkness to the touch. At 5 pm there was dinner, then, if you get hungry, you can at least howl at the moon like a wolf, no one will offer you anything but tea, even if you want to order something in them " restaurant. Breakfasts and lunches are the most common - buckwheat on the water, scrambled eggs, if you're lucky, then borscht or soup. I don’t understand what the best dishes of Georgian cuisine were mentioned in the description....There was also no refrigerator in the room, which noticeably complicates the storage of many products... There is no electric kettle, for tea you need to go down to the very bottom, click on the call button and wait for a guy with a very unhappy face to come out and make you a teapot. Coffee costs 25 UAH per cup, but it tastes so good that it’s better to call the same disgruntled guy again and ask him for more tea. The staff runs into the kitchen in dirty jackets.
The nearest ski lift is 6 km away, and you won’t wait for a free transfer, at best they will call you a taxi (which you can wait in the cold for about 40 minutes, because the staff simply forgot to actually call a taxi driver, but told you to get out and wait already). Taxi price one way 100 UAH. There is no rental of ski equipment, of course, either. I had to ask local residents where to go in this resort, where the nearest store, how to get to the mountain, as the staff only shrugged their shoulders in displeasure and looked at us like some boobies. Even the services listed in the hotel list had to be reminded, and the employees pretended that they were hearing about all this for the first time...

The staff is inattentive to the guests, unfriendly, it seems that you did not come to the hotel to relax for your money, but impudently climbed into someone else's monastery, and with all your presence you make them suffer . .
Why even indicate in the list of services what you are not even going to provide ?? ? The same billiards in a disassembled state for several months, and already on February 2 this year, the site indicated that any vacationer can use it for 2 hours a day?
We were not the only ones who were outraged by what was happening, people, out of ignorance of where to put themselves after 5 pm, sat on chairs on the 3rd floor, trying to catch the elusive Wi-Fi . . But even all this could have been forgiven to the hotel if not for one of the most important and fat minus. This is PURITY, or rather, its absence. We have never seen such horror in the rooms.
In short, the front door to the room does not reach the floor by 2-3 cm, which interferes with sound insulation, and everything that happens on the floor will be heard from you, flies and other flying crap fly through it into the light. There are just too many of them!! ! It seems that you are filming in the program "Animal Planet", where they shoot all this creeping-flying garbage... All the walls are stained with the blood of unfortunate insects, they are on the windows, on clothes, on EVERYTHING!! ! At night, flies buzz, beat against the chandelier (in which all the bulbs have been prudently unscrewed, leaving only one, so that it would not be too light for vacationers), horseradish crawls along the walls, and in the corner there was a rustling, similar to what a mouse emits . . In the morning, gnawed socks in holes were found in the same place, which had remained there unharmed and clean the night before. There was no TV in the room, we had to literally beg for it from the administrator, and then the guy brought it, proudly walking in dirty street shoes through our entire room . . It catches only 1 channel, and without a remote control. There is no refrigerator, no access to the balcony, the water was turned off at night, dirt, wisps of dust in the corners, holes 10 * 10 cm above the bed in the wall, the bed linen is dirty, smelly, in the hair, there is a huge spider in the shower cabin, the cabin itself too dirty, moldy, it’s disgusting to stand there even in shoes, not that barefoot. At least take out the rug in the bathroom and knock it out, in dust and dirt. Towels smell like wild horses of Mongolia, also not the first freshness and obviously got us after someone. I had to sleep in clothes, as the room was unreal cold.

In such conditions, we survived only 3 nights, and then, each of them, went for 3 for us....Without spending a day in the "paradise" place, we packed up and left. What a pity before how to go. I didn't read other people's reviews. I hope that my review will help someone not to make a similar mistake. If you don't want to spoil the whole impression of your holiday in the Carpathians, DO NOT STAY IN "ARATTA" IN ANY EVENT!!!! !
