After reading the positive reviews on this site, we went to the sanatorium DP "Shayan". After arrival, I became very suspicious of the staff of the sanatorium in creating and filling out this branch.
In order. Before the trip, I phoned Vasil Kapitan (tel. wrote off here) and agreed on a transfer from Mukachevo. I met you wonderfully, and in the future they addressed me with any questions - I helped and prompted. Thank you so much!
We arrived at the resort. We were offered a choice of 5 rooms. Let's go look. One more terrible and dirtier than the other. We even looked at deluxe. Windows in the roof (only the sky is visible) and dirt. There is no vacuum cleaner in the sanatorium. It is disgusting to touch upholstered furniture. Rugs have not even seen a broom, in appearance, for three months. Torn curtains and snot hanging bedside lamps, a small 4-program TV on the central antenna with a flashing image that cannot be adjusted. In all rooms in the bathroom (its size together with the toilet bowl and washbasin is 1.20x1.20 !!! ) there are rusty sticks on which a curtain hangs and a hole in the floor next to the toilet bowl. It's for washing! You can do this while sitting on the toilet. The door from the bathroom enters into a clinch with the front door to the room. If one of them is not accidentally closed, then it is impossible to enter the room or leave the bathroom. The fact that fungus is booming in some bathrooms is understandable. Too bad you can't attach a photo here! The bed deserves special attention. It is conditionally white and has a huge black stamp "Shayan Sanatorium - 1995" on it! Also feather pillows of the same year of release with pillowcases of the color of soldier's footcloths from the times of the First World War. Also blankets in which the whole canvas crawled out from old age and they look more like old burlap. On the first (and last) night, under two such blankets, we could not warm ourselves for a minute, being dressed in socks, sweatpants and sweaters. Fortunately, the heating in the sanatorium was turned off on time and they were not going to turn it on. Well, the last straw was food.

At the entrance to the dining room, in the hall, there is a wardrobe and washstands. There is probably a toilet hidden somewhere. But the smell in this hall was as if you went to the toilet, where there was never water and all sanitation consists in abundant sprinkling of bleach. It ate out the eyes. So it was for lunch, dinner and breakfast (then we ran away). Dining room - furniture, walls, dishes - everything is extremely wretched. Food. Conditionally called borsch - something floated in pink water. The second - porridge and "patty" - it's just soaked bread (there wasn't even onion in it). Salad - a pickled cucumber slurry in which a piece of cheese and compote were completely brown without sugar. Instead of butter - margarine. In the morning they served a "dessert" - from soaked cookies and an apple (which we did not take the day before) watered with something sticky gray.
At first I wanted to feed the dietitian and the head physician with all this. Then I decided not to spoil our nerves and we retreated from the sanatorium to the private sector (we settled in a beautiful, warm room) and cheaper in cost. We bought food at the sanatorium of the Ministry of Internal Affairs (across the street from the Shayan DP), drank water and attended the necessary procedures there . Savings for two weeks turned out 1500 UAH. per person. That was quite enough for visiting the baths in Velyatino, trips to Khust and Tyachev.
The nature in the vicinity of the "Shayan" recreation center is wonderful, the water is curative and tasty, there are enough places for walking and "gatherings". Worth a trip to Shayan for sure. BUT ONLY NOT IN THE HEALTH DP "SHAYAN"!
By the way, the sanatorium of the Ministry of Internal Affairs (also called "Shayan") is quite a worthy place. A little more expensive, 30 hryvnia per day (the simplest room with meals and treatment), but you need to order in advance. 1.5-2 months. In the village of Shayan, there are now many new private boarding houses, comfortable and beautiful, but the prices there are appropriate. I wish you all a good holiday! And I hope that my objective review will be useful to someone.
