The option of rest in Sheshory arose by accident. I saw an advertisement on the Internet for the former sanatorium "Sheshory", which is now called a resort. But after reading the reviews, we changed our minds to contact them. The best hotel in Sheshory "Filvarok nad Hook" did not suit us in terms of prices. They began to look for a private estate. There are many offers, but no reviews. I asked questions about tourism, but few responded. We went through many options and finally stopped at the estate "Goritsvit". In the photo, everything looked very nice. The new 2-storey cottage is designed for 4-5 people. We were joined by a group of 5 people. But we thought that one bathroom was not enough for 5. They started looking for additional housing for two in the neighborhood. And then it turned out that the owners of Goritsvit decided to rent another house near the cottage. The location of Goritsvit is very good. It is located in the center of the village, near the waterfalls and the bus stop.
On the 1st floor of the cottage there is a kitchen with everything you need, a sauna and a shower. On the first floor there is a small bedroom, a large living room and a bathroom. We chose for a long time, but in our opinion we chose the best. Opposite our estate is the hotel "Mountain Peace". Also a good option. But the room there costs the same as our entire cottage. And the three of us lined up. The cottage cost 400 UAH. day. But we paid only for 7 days, and the 8th for free. So it cost 350 UAH. The owners of Goritsvit are a young family of doctors. At first we planned to eat in a cafe nearby, but we didn't like it there. The hostess has a small child, and she offered to cook us something easier, without meat. Mostly we ordered her lunch, sometimes breakfast. And so they cooked. There are shops nearby. We just didn't have enough fruit. The market day in the village is only on Friday, and we arrived on Saturday.
We had big plans for active recreation.

We came mostly to walk, ride, get acquainted with the new beautiful places of the Carpathians. Sheshory is famous for its waterfalls-sounds. But we did not expect that it would be possible to swim in them. The first days of our vacation were very hot, and the water was warm enough for swimming. There are a lot of vacationers on the river. The river is called Pistinka. Inflow of the Prut River. It runs through the whole village for several kilometers, overcoming the rocky path and creating waterfalls and gullies. There are also deep places where you can swim and dive. But a special pleasure will sit under a stream of water with the effect of a jacuzzi.
There are many interesting places to see around Sheshor. First, we agreed with the local guide Andrew on a trip to the Rosokhat meadow to the shepherds. There you can try and buy brynza, budz and vurda. We liked Wurda the most. It is made from whey and tastes like cheese.
And brynza is made from budza, which is ground with salt. Andriy and I also visited Pisany Kamen in the Verkhovyna district near the Bukovets Pass. Impressions are unforgettable. Wonderful views along the way. Amazing rocks with powerful energy.
Then we traveled with Vasily. He told us a lot of interesting things about the history and sights of his region. We made an interesting trip through the Golden Ring of the Carpathians - Yavoriv, Bukovets, Kryvorivnya, Verkhovyna, Kryvopillya, Vorokhta, Yaremche. A trip to the stone goddess Ternoshorska Lada in Kosiv district was very memorable. Sacred place. Even the weather there was different. It is dry in Kosovo and Sheshor, but here it is foggy. The place is unique and little known. So the Carpathians charged us with energy for a long time. Near Sheshor there is a mountain lake Lebedin. We planned to go there in advance. But we could not reach the lake alone. Instead, we walked in the woods.
It is said that the lake is heavily overgrown and enlarged like a swamp.
Behind the Sheshory resort on the outskirts of the village is a beautiful forest with very old ship pines and firs. By the way, we entered the territory of the resort. Impressions of neglect and sparseness. Only one building works. To it it is necessary to rise upwards from the main road. But near the river is very beautiful and few people.

It is worth writing about the Arkan restaurant. We heard a lot of good things before the trip. But he even exceeded our expectations. It is a pity that we got there late. We visited only once. But the impression was unforgettable. The food is delicious and the dishes are very original, a great choice. Prices are twice cheaper than in Kiev. For 100 hryvnias. you can drink, eat from the belly and dessert for a snack. The restaurant is located near the central bridge over the river. From the open terraces you can admire the views around.
The village of Sheshory is very well-groomed and picturesque.
Beautiful houses with beautiful wells are pleasing to the eye. There is an old church of the XIX century in the village.
There are beautiful chapels near the road. It is clear that green tourism is thriving here. The only inconvenience is getting here. We went by train to Ivano-Frankivsk. From there there are often buses to Kolomyia. And there is a direct train to Kolomyia. But it is more difficult to get from Kolomyia to Sheshory. We took bus tickets to the village. Kosmach. We got standing places. The people on the bus were packed. We drove for forty minutes on a relatively good road. Direct bus to the village. Sheshory is an hour longer and dead road. We left in the neighboring village of Pistyn, where the owner was waiting for us by car, and drove to Sheshora. Back in general, it was risky to contact the bus. I had to look for a car. The five of us squeezed into the old Zhiguli and drove away from the traffic police.
So our vacation was a success. Gorgeous conditions, river, forest, mountains.
We got acquainted with another wonderful corner of the Carpathians. We got a lot of new impressions, charged with health and positivity.
And paid relatively cheaply.
