I like to relax somewhere abroad, especially on the seas, but sometimes there is no way to escape, or simply corny - there is no time. That's when you start to look around and look for what is closer to you. Fortunately, our country is large, there are plenty to choose from. We chose the route so that it was not far away (6-7 hours by car) and inexpensive. Cottages in the 100 km zone from Kyiv were not considered because of the price of the issue (price / quality for some reason does not correspond to real life at all). Yes, it's not interesting. We decided to go for silence, clean air and tranquility, i. e. to the mountains, where there is also a forest of extraordinary beauty. They did not think for a long time, they chose Skole (a town in the Lviv region) a picturesque place that was lost among the mountains and forests in the depths of our great and extraordinary homeland. I will not write about the beauties of the region, you just need to visit there, but about the prose of life - with pleasure.

The road from Kyiv to Skole was quite tireless: "Long live EURO-2012" and "Thank you EURO for our roads"! Except for the last section - a few km from Skole to our hotel, which was clearly designed for off-road vehicles.

Here the most interesting began. Of course, I understand that you should not 100% believe everything that they write about themselves on their own hotel websites. But not to the same extent!

Upon closer examination, it turns out that the hotels are not in a picturesque corner, as was said, but somewhere near the railway, the helipad is kind of frail, the maximum that can fit there is a hydroplane. The rooms are tiny, but the beds are really impressive - a real "sexodrome" (it's better for children not to read this, otherwise they will still ask what this word means). I recommend that you do not book a hotel in advance if it is not the season, but come and see what and how. For the above reasons, we did not like the first hotel "Svyatoslav". And we moved on.

Oh, don't forget! It should be noted that the three of us are traveling, and, as a rule, we rent a room for three (in cramped conditions, but not offended), so we were accordingly looking for a room for three.

The choice fell on the family hotel "Three Brothers" (Grebeniv village). Rooms to choose from - from economy class to luxury. Chic, so chic. We chose a suite, which is 50 UAH more expensive than the standard (350 UAH). Four people can easily live in the room, and there will still be room, but the joke is that the room is designed for two, that is, you have to pay extra for the third. How? And so! In any room of this hotel for the third, fourth you have to pay extra - in this hotel for 60 UAH. Accordingly, breakfast is included in the price only for two, for all the rest, an additional charge for breakfast is 20 UAH.

There were no guests in the hotel besides us - the caretaker, the dog Vaska and three goats brought variety to our temporary shelter. True, they were delighted that at least they flooded. And then in the autumn in the Carpathians it is quite cool.

Now about food. Probably, it was necessary to take a walk around the village in order not to order anything in the hotel restaurant. The interior is just super, but the chef, if he is, needs to be changed. I'm certainly not a connoisseur of the kitchen, but I understand something in it. For children and people who are recommended diet food, there is nothing. Of the 10 dishes (you can choose only one) for breakfast, you could try rice porridge with milk, but there was no milk, so we warmed up our own cutlets for a couple. Omelet, for some reason, very much resembled a casserole of eggs, water and flour. You can eat, but some strange dish. Pancakes, like pancakes, again on the water, I didn’t manage to spoil the scrambled eggs))). Of the dishes that I tried for dinner, I can not note anything. They were full, but they didn't enjoy it.

Staff. I liked the young lady at the reception Dasha and our security guard Vasily. They are very nice, they will show you everything, tell you more and lead you to the source of mineral water, which is called the local “naftusya”.

In general - the rest was a success, if not one but...

More about him. Not far from Skole, on the way to Lviv, we decided to stop by Drohobych, famous Drohobych, and on the way. We looked at the map - about 27 km, very close and there is a sign. Go! 27 km turned into two hours of hassle. If what is called a road is a ROAD, then I, the Pope!! ! This is not a road - this is something incomprehensible pit on the pit. If you want to take a shortcut, DO NOT DO IT!! ! There is no road!

Of course, there is no impression of the city. Either Drohobych became different, or we got tired after the journey.

From Drohobych to Lviv, the road can be said to be good, the average speed is 80 km / h.

Finally, I note that Lviv itself after the Euro became the center of Western Ukrainian tourism. There has been a significant increase in tourists. As a result, everything went up in price. Prices in cafes have risen, portions have become smaller. Unpleasant, but true.

So the best impressions were from walking in the mountains and picking porcini mushrooms. Still, I breathed fresh air, so much so that my head was spinning. Looks like oxygen poisoning has begun, so it's time to go back, smell the city gasoline)))
