Good day to all! I want to share my impressions about the rest in the hotel "Ilz, " Slavske, Carpathians. The very first reason why my family and I went there was our own hill with a lift and the absence of a huge number of people. We went skiing! When booking a room, the presence of snow was specified by the administrator. I have a simple logic: there is a slide, there is a snowcat, there is snow - you can ride! But apparently that's just me. Because the hotel administration has a different opinion: the main thing is to fill all the rooms and take a fee at least a day in advance. There were more than enough people who wanted to ride. therefore, everyone together WALKED with skis uphill, 200-250 meters, and in a pre-infarction state, rolled down in half a second. Guess how much enthusiasm is enough in this mode? Particularly desperate, we rented transport for a fee and went to ride the Berkut. As a result, out of 4 days spent at the hotel, we rode only 1.5 days (since the drag was launched after 13-00 on 22.01). Unfortunately, we have a vacation 5 days .
Ski and boot rental at the hotel sucks, all equipment is at least 10 years old! Skis are all carving, for prepared tracks. And now a separate feature of the "resort" - the so-called ski hill - is a blueberry plantation in summer, so the owners of the hotel PRINCIPALLY do not mow the hill and, accordingly, do not waste it. into the bushes and you fly with your nose, at best, you just don’t go. Therefore, for those who like to ride on virgin lands, it’s a complete bummer, or take freeride skis with you. Our station wagons did not help.
Question: why the hell call yourself a ski resort?!
Another important point that upset our stay was the complete lack of soundproofing in the hotel. Through the wall, my neighbors and I have actually become relatives, since the slightest rustle is heard, even when we were talking in a whisper, I will modestly keep silent about "farts" and "snores" - I'm not exaggerating! (who was, knows what is at stake). Therefore, such trifles as the lack of towels, soap, a rug in the shower and, periodically, heat in the room, in fact, could not affect the "rest" in any way.
I do not take into account the lack of human access to the hotel, although, dear hotel owners, not all people on the planet have an off-road vehicle or a helicopter, and in the age of current technology, this problem can be thought out and solved.
What did you like? Nature, landscapes from a height, cuisine, staff attitude. Although for this it is not necessary to go 700 km.
Conclusion: would we recommend a stay at the Ilz Hotel to friends - no. Whether we will go there again is doubtful.
