We rested with my wife in Transcarpathia for the first time, we wanted to learn how to ski! We chose the village of Slavske, the hotel Perlyna Karpat because of its proximity to the ski lift for beginners (Polytechnic 200 meters away, 5-10 minutes walk in equipment + ski lift for the smallest and beginners nearby) and did not lose! The hotel is beautiful and cozy, we took the room "Economy" room number 9 with a balcony - we liked the room, a beautiful view from the window, 860 UAH / day with breakfast, the room has a small refrigerator, TV, shower, sink, toilet, 2 * 1.

There is a shop near the hotel, equipment rental is opposite, everything is very convenient, it takes 15-20 minutes to walk to the railway station, from the entrance to the hotel they take you to ride Mount Trostyan, Zakhar golden eagle, Plai. Our vacation was a success and we wish you, we will try to come to Perlyna Carpathians!

100% prepayment, you can not refuse food, banquet! ) When booking, we warned that we are going to rest with a small dog, to which the answer was given. We will be glad to see you with a dog in the Pearl of the Carpathians.
And now it's time to celebrate, there is no snow and it is not expected, temperature + 15, green grass, but we are not skiers, so we are not upset and leave positively on the route Kyiv - 2 days Lviv - 7 days in Slavske + visiting Mukachevo and Uzhgorod - Lviv - Kyiv.
Excellent rest for 2 days in Lviv (everything is beautifully decorated, a wonderful fair with delicious mulled wine and snacks and of course rare restaurants, each with its own unique interior and variety of dishes),
We go to Slavske, the route is just great, but at the exit from it, 23 km to the hotel some horror, asphalt if you can call it that, all littered with huge pits, on this section we have repeatedly fought the bottom, the bridge, so you can imagine This is a Jeep Grand Cherokee.
(The way from the road to the hotel for such a short distance, takes 1-1.5 hours). Dear hotel owners, well, they would have dropped out, at least to fill the road with rubble ...
And here he is the pearl of the Carpathians!
The first impression, when getting out of the car, immediately slipped on the icy asphalt and the Christmas tree refrained from falling, the parking lot in the ice is not sprinkled and not cleaned to get to the path leading to the hotel, you need to make funny movements with your hands and feet to fall.
Next, on the territory of two buildings, where the reception is not clear, there are no signs, wandering with suitcases until the administrator looked out and waved.

There was not enough space in the room, above the bed there is a shelf that you keep banging on, a prehistoric TV 20 * 20 cm high under the ceiling (which is very upsetting, it is simply impossible to watch the New Year's program). The most unpleasant thing is the old, gray color, with holes in the bed linen and the room is very poorly heated, really cold!
Of the pros, the room is clean, there is a small. refrigerator, view from the balcony.
Hotel area:
Pros: very well-groomed, everywhere neatly trimmed lawn with grass (it occupies almost the entire hotel area), there are two gazebos made of wood with barbecues, a small zoo.
Cons: Not a single bar, huts, no shops where you can sit and enjoy nature.
To drink at least mulled wine in nature, you need to go to the administrative building to the restaurant.
Administrative building: fireplace (lit only in the evening), it is almost impossible to approach, there is a huge billiard table, around which children are constantly running from nothing to do, near the fireplace is a row of chairs overlooking the pool table, again sit near fireplace with a glass of wine, just relax is not real ...On the same floor restaurant, nothing special in the interior, no color, white tablecloths, chairs, everything is very tasteless.
As for the restaurant itself, the restaurant staff, the menu, all in the top five, very attentive waitresses, delicious food, large portions. I would even say that the restaurant and its staff only keep the hotel a pearl of the Carpathians. The only remark is that there is a lack of some zest, traditional Ukrainian cuisine.
New Year's Eve and rest in the pearl of the Carpathian Slavs:
On December 31, dinner was canceled, the restaurant was open only until 17.00, which was not warned, in fact, there is nowhere else to go to eat (in a poor village with a broken road) and all who managed to eat until 17.00 but for their money (breakfast and dinner is supposed to be included in the package), and who did not know, stayed hungry, or went for a sausage in the nearest store. I didn't want to argue and find out something, it's a holiday after all. The banquet and show program started at 22.00, it was just HORROR! The hotel decided to spend all this in the conference hall, it is not decorated, you can imagine the New Year's atmosphere,
Show: Snow Maiden under 45, looks like a "dream" (Marena Goddess Navi, dark night, nightmares, ghosts, diseases (sea), death), pale all, tortured woman, in a horrible costume and with an unspeakable unpleasant voice. Santa Claus, in a costume made of Chinese Christmas hats, whether drunk or bad, a man with a complete lack of humor and organization. I just don't want to describe everything that happens, jokes, organization and the rest of the program, to be honest, it's a shame that you can celebrate the new year… But the banquet, again 5 points, the restaurant's credit, everything is delicious and beautiful.
The hotel sold a package for 7 m days, for the New Year holidays, but did not care about a gram of rest, entertainment, how people will live these 7 days! As I wrote, there was no snow, and most people came to ski, respectively, became hostages of the hotel, because there is no infrastructure in the district at all!

The hotel also organizes a transfer to Mount Trostyan, 4 km from the hotel. 7 lifts with slopes of different difficulty levels that will satisfy everyone - from beginners to masters of skiing.

We took a standard double room. The room size is small, but comfortable enough. Moreover, Slavske is not a place where a lot of time is spent in a room. Many details in the room are made of wood. What is inconvenient is the placement of the TV - it is only for the background, it is really impossible to watch it, as well as an incomprehensible shelf right above the bed - every now and then you hit your head against it. Bed linen is multi-colored - therefore it is difficult to judge its freshness. Towels have lost their white color for a long time, you will not find slippers and bathrobes. But there is a small refrigerator, closet and bedside table. And of course the balcony, from which is simply the most beautiful view of the nature of the Carpathians.
But what is really annoying is the water from the tap. It's not just stinky - it's insanely stinky! After brushing my teeth, I did not understand - it was better to brush them or not brush at all. The administration explains this to snowmelt. But as for me, we live in the 21st century and, in my opinion, it is not a problem to purchase different filters. This is a real minus for those vacationers who have gathered for a long time in this hotel - it is very inconvenient to wash - then you stink for a very long time.
Kitchen. Everything is very good here. Dinner was excellent, breakfast (it is included in the price) is hearty, tasty and healthy. Many thanks to the boss!
In general, I was satisfied with the weekend. Snow at this time of the year in the mountains was still at least half a meter, and the temperature in the mountains was below zero (we had a great time on Mount Trostyan). Air, nature, landscapes, local people - everything is very, very positive.
The hotel is generally quite good. If the management corrects the situation with water (even without making repairs), then it’s a very decent option for stopping in the wonderful city of Slavske.
