Hotel-resort "Koruna" is located in the heart of the Hutsul region, among the majestic mountains, in the valley of the Prut River. The resort is located close to the ski lifts and hiking trails and offers a complete holiday at any time of the year. Authentic Hutsul wooden houses of the late 19th century have been moved to the territory of the resort, and one of them houses an ethnographic museum.More →

On the way we stopped in Koruna
Settle in a standard room, as the hotel was full, there were no other rooms
The girl at the reception advised to book in advance
The room is not big (I didn’t live in such rooms before), but clean
We lived for 2 days on the 2nd floor in Korunk, under a roof
We ate in a cafe on the territory of the hotel, it was delicious, Hutsul cuisine is something (potato pancakes, potatoes, salsa, meat - my husband liked everything)
Hotel staff - very polite, it was comfortable to communicate
The territory is large, beautiful, around the mountain, calmly, despite the many people, you feel freedom, clean air, there is no such thing in the city, a fabulous place, we will definitely return

A STANDARD room for two costs 940 UAH. With breakfast. The room itself is horrible. Worn wooden floor. Furniture "self-made" is made somehow. Cornices are attached crookedly and obliquely. Curtains have nothing to do with comfort. Worn floors, cracked walls. The very feeling of some kind of desolation persists both in the room and in the corridors. There is no coziness, no feeling of caring for the guests... It is impossible to open the window - it smells of sewerage from everywhere. Yes, there was a strange smell in the room.
The floors between floors are thin. Above us lived a family of either very large people, or with kangaroo children. The stomp was terrible! There was a constant fear that one of them would fall through the ceiling into our room. CONSTANTLY there was a clatter above a head.
Regarding the benefits of civilization - Wi-Fi in the room does not catch at all, which was not warned by phone at the time of booking the room, but on the site where this hotel is praised. The TV is really "flat", but there is not much sense from it - not a single channel catches normally, everything snows and growls. no good picture, no sound, and even the remote control in my hands was constantly falling apart.
The only room that did not cause irritation and feelings of disgust is, oddly enough, the bathroom - clean, hygienic, quite modern. And what I would like to praise is the work of the maids - although the hotel itself looks like a stable all la USSR, it is clean. smart girls.
About the restaurant - it's a gloom! We arrived tired and hungry. We ordered two potatoes (boiled in pieces and baked), meat and salad. And two more juices from the pack! (This is important). Boiled potatoes were not fresh, but simply heated with a characteristic smell. The baked potato turned out to be the same stale potato slices, just deep-fried to the state of crackers. In general, it was impossible to eat a side dish, the meat was normal. Juice brought 2 cheap stamps Our garden or something like that. The amount in the check seemed suspiciously high, but fatigue took its toll. And only in the morning we saw that fresh juice was included in our bill! which we did not order and which we were not brought. The result - a bill for a piece of meat of 200 grams and yesterday's nasty potatoes, a pole of some kind of mess passed off as a salad, cheap juice cost us 380 UAH. Of which 60 UAH for fresh which we did not order and did not bring to us. That is, they are not counting on trifles here.
I do not recommend the restaurant or the hotel. The price-quality ratio is not equal.

Rested in late February - early March. Of the minuses: 1) The hotel has very poor sound insulation, if someone will live above you - you have every chance to get a sleepless night; 2) The hotel staff is not in a hurry to pay attention to you, you need - go yourself; 3) Please note that the hotel has a prepayment, and if you suddenly change plans - your problems, no one will return your money; 4) The hotel management does not show any loyalty to regular customers (we have been coming for the second year); 5) The hotel has no Internet. … More ▾ Rested in late February - early March. On the plus side - the hotel is well cleaned and has a good location. Indifference to customers spoils all good impressions. Given the above, we will not return to this hotel and will not recommend it to anyone.

In general, I liked the stay. Good location, not far from Bukovel. High-quality finishing of the room, spacious, warm.
Notes:
- poor soundproofing, you can hear the neighbors snoring or talking;
- large and thick, loudly buzzing flies woke up in our room. I made a remark at the reception, but the flies did not disappear anywhere. It was necessary to pay for the room and divide them for accommodation : )
- There was no bulb in the lamp above the bed. Made a remark - screwed;
- some channels on the TV show with great interference;
- there is no wi-fi in the room, but it would be nice to have;
- it would not be bad if the breakfasts in the restaurant were not at 8 in the morning, but at 7-30 or at 7 in the morning, then you could have time to have breakfast and get to the morning action on Bukovel and be the first on the lift. It also seemed that the restaurant is too small for the entire number of rooms, if most of them are full, then there will not be enough places for everyone in the restaurant.
The rest of the hotel is ok, we recommend it to everyone.

After reading rave reviews about Korun, we chose their restaurant. The territory is really very well maintained and clean (despite the ongoing construction). Since the weather favored eating in the open air, we stayed on the summer playground. The only thing that alerted us when we first arrived was the rather thin dogs on the territory of the complex (although with such a scale, the “animals” should live well here). Our order was taken quickly. . . We ordered a mushroom soup, three salads, three pork kebabs, a Hutsul-style potato pancake and four uzvars. Before the waitress had time to leave, the tailed residents of the hotel began to “pull up” to us and look into our eyes. There was nothing to treat yet, because. they brought only a weak uzvar (I don’t want to think that it was divorced) and a few pieces of bread (not very fresh). After a 15-minute game of “staring” with a beautiful young cat (frightened to such an extent that every turn of a person in a chair makes her want to “run away”), I decided to offer her at least a piece of bread...
Of course, I am a resident of the capital and do not know how animals live in the countryside, but I have never seen a cat pounce on stale bread with such greed! Naturally, she was given the whole liver from a salad and a little shish kebab! Moreover, a dog also joined the cat (which is clearly “not on the bird’s rights” at the hotel, because it was in a collar), in which a piece of potato pancake also caused hysteria.
The order was brought in 30 minutes, the portions are small, the fried kebab is clearly not on the grill and too marinated (3-4 small pieces of meat and chopped turnip go for 100 g of kebab, no sauce, no greens are provided, the mushroom soup was also not very (by that time there was already something to compare with) the potato pancake was delicious, but somehow I didn’t really want to eat it anymore. There was no feeling of oversaturation, we paid 300 UAH for everything (the day before we ate “At Yakov’s” for only 60 UAH. more expensive, but very tasty and satisfying, portions are 2 times larger).
No other restaurant left me with a more unpleasant impression! Because when a well-fed cat walks imposingly between the tables, it causes tenderness, and when a kitten swallows a piece of bread on the fly, it disgusts all the restaurant staff. I hope my review will not lead to the extermination of animals on the territory, but to a more humane attitude towards them, because many visitors come with children who will only be happy to watch wildlife.
I understand that not all visitors to Koruna will understand me, but I want to believe that there are still more compassionate people than indifferent ones! Unfortunately, I can't rate the hotel. the goal was to eat delicious food, but judging by what we saw, the living conditions should be decent! Although the entrance to the hotel could be better, the road is unpaved, there is nowhere to pass an oncoming car... it's scary to imagine how cars climb there in winter.

We rested in a junior suite, the Dolina building - excellent rooms with expensive furniture. Everything in the hotel is very well thought out to the smallest detail, in Ukraine this is a rarity, for adequate money. Delicious breakfast buffet. The only negative - the girls at the reception lack courtesy... would be a score of 10. … More ▾ We rested in a junior suite, the Dolina building - excellent rooms with expensive furniture. The first time I was in the Carpathians (we went to rest with my husband and a one-year-old son and another family couple of friends with a daughter), I was very worried about what would happen, whether I would like it, but when we arrived at the place, all doubts and worries disappeared, it's just a fairy tale: gorgeous room (we had a junior suite with a large double bed and even though the three of us slept with my husband and child, it was not crowded at all), everything is completely made of wood, the room is VERY warm (although it was cold outside, the month of February), clean and comfortable , gorgeous view from the window, my own balcony with a table and chairs, I was very pleased with the heated floor in the bathroom, the breakfast buffet, everything is fresh, very tasty, my own pastries (gained a couple of kilograms in a week of rest; )) gorgeous territory, very attentive and friendly staff. … More ▾ The first time I was in the Carpathians (we went to rest with my husband and a one-year-old son and another family couple of friends with a daughter), I was very worried about what would happen, whether I would like it, but when we arrived at the place, all doubts and worries disappeared, it's just a fairy tale: gorgeous room (we had a junior suite with a large double bed and even though the three of us slept with my husband and child, it was not crowded at all), everything is completely made of wood, the room is VERY warm (although it was cold outside, the month of February), clean and comfortable , gorgeous view from the window, my own balcony with a table and chairs, I was very pleased with the heated floor in the bathroom, the breakfast buffet, everything is fresh, very tasty, my own pastries (gained a couple of kilograms in a week of rest; )) gorgeous territory, very attentive and friendly staff. Corunca is a three-storey building with standard rooms. The content of the issue surprisingly exactly matches the photos posted on the Koruna website. The rooms are not big but comfortable enough. Double room "standard" - 350 UAH per day. You can live alone for 300 UAH per day. We got a room on the 3rd floor. The room is about 3 by 3 meters (maybe 3 by 4), the vestibule is about 1.5 by 1.5, a bathroom. The room has: TV, wardrobe, table, electric kettle, safe (look in the closet! ), hair dryer, dishes (look in the table! ), chair, stool, bedside tables, bed or beds. All furniture is wooden and solid. The room is warm. If it's cold, you can turn the temperature regulator on the batteries. He works. In addition, there are warm blankets and double-glazed windows without gaps. Hot water is also unlimited. There is no refrigerator.
But outside the window there is a rather wide horizontal window sill where perishable products can be stored. Room cleaning is daily. Bed for 5 days changed at least once, towels - at least 2 times (maybe more). The staff is friendly and welcoming. Wi-fi is. But practically does not catch. Yes! If you have something that plugs into a wall outlet and it has an old Soviet-style plug, be sure to take an adapter with you! Otherwise, you will not be able to use this something terribly necessary. The room has all Eurotype sockets (round and deep).
Another moment that scared me the most. A few reviews on the Internet contained complaints about the complete lack of soundproofing. Strategic stockpiles of cotton wool were made to stuff into the ears, in case the neighbors at the other end of the corridor were snoring or doing something else. Not useful. It was quiet enough. Never heard someone else's TV or hair dryer working.
You can hear the slamming of doors in the morning, and it's not that loud. The advantage of the third floor is that there is only a roof above it, and no one walks overhead in ski boots. Relative minus: there is a window in the ceiling (roof), and it is not curtained by anything, so you will have to wake up with the sun.
Breakfast lasts from 8 to 11 hours. Buffet. Again, quite small, but the food is delicious. Usually available: apple pie or cottage cheese casserole, small sweet bagels, sausage, ham, cheese, butter, bread, pickled cucumbers and tomatoes, fruits (oranges and apple slices), pancakes with cottage cheese, jam, sour cream. There might have been something else, I don't remember now. From drinks: greenfield tea bags (green and black), brewed coffee, sandorra juices (2-3 decanters every morning), milk, curdled milk, yogurt. In general, on the first morning breakfast surprised us a little.
Seeing how little food was offered, and mentally preparing for training on the slope, we collected plates "with a slide" and went to swallow it all. We managed to absorb quite a lot when a waiter approached us with a question: "And what will you be on a hot one? ". Yes, I also had to eat unexpected hot food. On "hot" every morning they offer the same thing. To choose from: oatmeal with milk, oatmeal with butter (I personally did not like it - too liquid), buckwheat, scrambled eggs, scrambled eggs. In short, the food is unpretentious, but satisfying and safe. The restaurant is located in a separate building, half a minute walk from Corunca.
They say you can dine there with a complex lunch for 100 hryvnia per person. As for me - very expensive, so I never used this service. One evening, well, I was sooo thirsty, I had to buy a liter of Sandorra juice (in a box) in a restaurant - 28 UAH. It is better to buy everything you need in the store along the way.
It is located about 300 meters after the turn to Vorokhta. They sell a lot of everything: water, juices, alcohol, sweets, canned food, frozen dumplings, chips, and other mivina...

Koruna provides transfer to Bukovel. It costs 100 hryvnia one way, regardless of the number of seats. That is, a renault kangoo type car and a mercedes sprinter bus cost the same. The transfer was pretty messy. You need to order it from the evening to the morning. Pay at the reception upon return. Drivers do not take money, so you have to make one of the passengers the main conductor. There are either 3 or 4 buses in Koruna. And each has a different number of seats. It often happens that in the evening a transfer for 17 seats is ordered, and a bus arrives, in which there are only 14 seats ...It's half an hour to drive to Bukovel. On the way back, the driver stops at the aforementioned store without any problems.

As a whole I liked it.

Good afternoon! I want to go to Tatariv in September. I chose the hotel, but at the moment the prices are indicated on the official website of the hotel only until July 31. Please tell me, in September relative to July, what are the prices, well, at least approximately. And what is the weather like this time of year?

Hello! We are planning to go with a friend in early September to relax. The place seems to have been decided, but some questions arose. Firstly, how is the weather at this time, and secondly, with the number of vacationers? If we understand correctly, then tours are arranged in groups of 17 people? If we come in September, will there be an opportunity to visit somewhere? Thirdly, how can I get to the hotel from the Ivano-Frankivsk railway station? And one more question. As they say "we ourselves are not local", are there any additional requirements for vacationers from Russia? Thanks a lot!!!
