A separate plus for the staff - I rarely met such sincere hospitality.
The location is perfect. City center, close to all sights and restaurants.

Arriving at the hotel, we expected a post-Soviet hotel with old furniture and service below average. We were pleasantly surprised by the Old Continent Hotel - the furniture and design were on a par with hotels in Western Europe, even better, and the service is simply exquisite. The room we stayed in (suite) was cozy, with a very comfortable bed and a nice bathroom.

We were pleasantly surprised by the Old Continent Hotel - the furniture and design were on a par with hotels in Western Europe, even better, and the service is simply exquisite. The room we stayed in (suite) was cozy, with a very comfortable bed and a nice bathroom. The room (not a suite) where my colleague stayed had a spacious balcony from which you could see the whole area in front of the hotel. Everything from towels to wood upholstery was luxurious. All this at reasonable prices. They even allowed us to move out 2 hours later at no extra charge.
I would also highly recommend the restaurant - extremely tasty fish and salad dishes.

Staying at the hotel left an extremely pleasant impression. The rooms were clean and tastefully furnished. The beds are comfortable and the bathroom is huge and rubbed to shine. I tasted only one dish in the restaurant, but it turned out to be tasty and quite filling. Only one light siege remained - young people gathered in front of the hotel to show off their cars and turn on loud music.

The hotel's brochures contain information that service is very important to them, and they have demonstrated this regularly. All the receptionists speak excellent English, help us find a driver for transfers, help us solve various problems, such as finding out the train schedule and finding an interpreter who accompanied us around the city.
If I come to Uzhgorod again - I will definitely choose this hotel.

I came to rest in my beloved city of Uzhgorod with my sister and friend. From old memory, I went for dessert to the most expensive restaurant in Uzhgorod at the Old Continent Hotel. It used to be delicious here. Now the prices have been raised and a rare resident of Uzhgorod will be able to dine here. But now is not about that.

It used to be delicious here. Now the prices have been raised and a rare resident of Uzhgorod will be able to dine here. But now is not about that. Having ordered our favorite cream caramel dessert with my sister, we got a dessert with worms !! ! The waiter put in front of us a dessert strewn with almonds with white worms that spread all over the plate. Calling the administrator, we proceeded to the kitchen, where I met the chef. At my request, he showed me how to prepare dessert: he took out caramel cream from the refrigerator and gave me a plastic box with almonds. (saying that we roast the almonds before serving. ) Here we were all taken aback!! ! I was holding a box of almonds in which white worms swarmed. Cobwebs with worms. . . worms. . . HORROR! Next to me was an administrator (a woman of about forty-five) and a waiter. We were offered fruit as compensation, but after paying for the drinks, we hurried to leave the Old Continent. Ordering creme caramel (or its second name creme brulee) all over the world, I almost got poisoned by it in the Old Continent.

Inside - handmade furniture - cozy and very pleasant to be. I liked that the room has high-speed WiFi and long-distance telephone connection, which is very convenient for work. It is also convenient that you can eat in the hotel restaurant, in the nearest cafe they also serve delicious food, or you can order food in your room.

On the way, I resigned myself to the idea that I would be there for only a couple of days and in principle, it does not matter what level of guests nice - simply put, preparing for the worst options.

This 4* hotel is located in the old quarter of the city, in its very heart next to the river Uzh, the hotel building perfectly fits into the architecture of Uzhgorod. We stayed in a room overlooking the City Hall. In addition to the European service in the Old Continent, the restaurant with the "European", "Versailles" halls and the summer grill terrace in the courtyard caused a special delight.

We stayed in a room overlooking the City Hall. In addition to the European service in the Old Continent, the restaurant with the "European", "Versailles" halls and the summer grill terrace in the courtyard caused a special delight. Now I can confidently recommend this hotel to those who want to relax or those who visit Uzhgorod on business trips.
