How I traded Old Continent food for Mio Cafe!
As I already wrote, we almost got poisoned by a dessert with worms in the Old Continent, we visited the Kilikia restaurant, where instead of grilled vegetables we were served caviar from vegetables. And most importantly, the administrator (overweight woman in short pants) convinced us that these were grilled vegetables. Kitchen 50 to 50. Greek salad, no, but you can order a shish kebab. But I want to say that we tasted the MOST DELICIOUS DISHES in the Mio family cafe (5|1 Kapitulnaya street). This is a small cozy cafe near the catholic church. The pretty blonde hostess Rai meets here. When we entered, she was cutting the strudel. Apple strudel! (with a thin crust), my favorite! They also have strudel with poppy seeds, walnuts, cherries. Everything is cooked at home and served with love! For lunch we ate bogrash and potato pancakes with mushroom sauce. Bogrash - you can’t pull it off by the ears (the cost is only 12g), and I didn’t eat such pancakes in Kyiv, crispy from the heat! Super !! ! Portion - it’s impossible to overpower! Cost 12g. We came back for breakfast again. Ate pancakes with cottage cheese and cheesecakes. Everything was prepared for us. In addition to sour cream, the hostess served us a very tasty plum jam (homemade). My heart is in this cafe. I love it when people treat their work with love. Mio, the hostess, loves her job and her clients. I will be in Uzhgorod, I will definitely come to them again.
