STRONGLY DO NOT RECOMMEND. Serious claims against Volovets in general and "Eden" in particular.
1. From the center (Bus station or ring) not 800 m, but all 2.5 km, even more to the railway station.
2. The railway road passes near the hotel, and passenger and freight trains run around the clock. We slept with the windows closed, but still, the sound is very audible and disturbing. On the other hand, there is a track right away and cars are chasing a lot - very noisy
3. The suite (! ) was dirty: cobwebs on the chandelier, dead wasps under the windows, dust in the corners. For 4 days (! ) no one in the room was cleaned - they didn’t even take out the garbage until she personally went and demanded to do the cleaning, otherwise they probably wouldn’t have come.
4. There is no reception desk. One girl works at the reception, and as a waiter, and at the checkout - as a human being, I feel sorry for her. This OK need to the owner so save on personnel.

5. The cafe is expensive: a portion of pancakes is 35 UAH, salads are just vegetable, without mayonnaise, 30 each. For a forgotten village, in which there is not a single attraction, this is expensive. In Svalyava, Yaremche, Skhidnitsa and even Lviv, I ate cheaper.
6. Disgusting soundproofing, or rather, it doesn’t exist at all - I heard all the conversations of the neighbors and, especially, how the doors open / close. By the way, roosters sing with might and main from 7 in the morning - this is a warning to those who still dare to sleep with an open window.
7. Booked a room for 14 days in August, made an advance payment of 50% in May. Stayed for 5 days, plans changed dramatically and had to leave urgently - the hostess did not return the advance payment. Heated for 600 UAH. Despite the fact that the hotel is practically empty and there is no talk of any loss of profit at all.
8. You need to walk 2.5 km to the center, railway or bus station, shops. Then the same number back, and there are no footpaths in principle, as well as public transport. You walk along the highway, praying that you are not hit by reckless drivers, or that you do not step into cow cakes - there are plenty of them everywhere. And it's for your own money - do you need it?
9. The nearest attraction is Shipit waterfall. It is about 12 km away. The hosts "welcome" offered a taxi for 250 UAH. As a result, we took a regular bus to Podobovets, 7 km on foot through the mountains to the Pylipets ski resort, then the same amount back and hitchhiked home. Total 40 UAH.
In reality, there are big problems with transport and infrastructure: minibuses run just awful, you need to adapt to the schedule on the train, the roads are completely kapets, and private traders tear at exorbitant prices. How much it costs to get to Synevyr or Kolochava is even scary to imagine. Just 50 km there is Polyana, Solochin, Svalyava - like heaven and earth.

Rest in Volovets and in "Eden" was very dissatisfied. A downtrodden village in which there is nothing to do but graze cows. Neither the municipal authorities nor the locals invest anything in the development of the region. Everyone did something for himself, behind his fence, and that's it. And tourists are paying for a big inflated bubble with wasted nerves, time and money. Think carefully before choosing Volovets - apart from panoramic views from afar, there is nothing to see there.
