Hey! We are from Moscow, we have two children - 4.5 and 2 years old. This summer, instead of the sea, we decided to visit the Carpathians. The place was chosen for a long time, we decided to go here, as it is inexpensive and there are a lot of positive reviews, incl. from Russian tourists. Never regretted. The place where the owners settled is remote from the road, it is quiet, calm and very beautiful here, about 10 minutes walk from the center of Vorokhta. Upon arrival, we received a warm welcome. The Orest family are friendly, sympathetic people, we did not need anything as a guest. The food was mostly prepared by ourselves in the common kitchen, since all conditions were created, and we ordered it a couple of times - it was delicious. You can have a barbecue every evening! The site is well-groomed, there is a gazebo and a grandiose swing, it is pleasant to swing and meditate on them, looking at the mountains. Hedgehogs run at night, you can hear the trains passing by. Near the forest. We got into the berry season, ate plenty of blueberries and strawberries. Children are delighted, often playing in the sand, swinging in a hammock. We saw real cows and cockerels, learned how they collect hay in stacks. It was not scary to let them go on the territory. There were many children among the vacationers, ours had fun every day.
As parents, we enjoyed driving around the neighborhood. We visited Yaremche, Guk waterfall. We swam a lot in a mountain river, rode a nearby lift, and every day we collected healing spring water. People in Vorokhta live good. For example, they forgot a backpack with a camera and documents in the store, returned - the sellers not only kept it intact, but also waited for our return, despite the fact that the store was already closing. When we left, we were very poisoned (we took pickles in the market), Alexandra treated us with a tincture of miracle herbs, it helped a lot.
The Hutsuls celebrate the big holiday of Ivan Kupala richly and touchingly. Strong faith and living traditions.

The local nature is somewhat similar to both Karelian and Crimean, only more alive and there are no mosquitoes. Seeing how the locals spend their lives in labor, climbing up to the houses along the rocky road every day, you do not become sour from rest and stay in good shape. We had a great rest, learned a lot of new, good people. We would like to come again. Thank you, dear hosts, happiness and good luck in everything!
