Our impressions after a vacation in Vorokhta.
Let's start with the place of residence of the "Hermitage".
The nature around is impressive, but that's a pity, all the beauty of the holiday ends. First of all, unfriendly attitude towards staff. The people in Vorokhta treat tourists as unwanted guests ...Nonsense, but it's true ...It seems that we came to them not for a vacation for which they were paid, but that we are relatives and want it all.
As for the kitchen in the "Hermitage".
Upon arrival, we warned that we want to have dinner, in fact it turned out that the cook is not, left yesterday's soup on the bone)) and buckwheat ...so if you want to lose weight, this holiday is just for you (more on this in more detail ).
The next day we were advised to have dinner at the local restaurant "Stara Vorokhta" - great interior, good service and delicious food.
however the next day this dinner paid off, poisoning with fever as you understand the day dropped out of vacation.
Then we decided to cook on our own in the "Hermitage". Firewood is UAH 50, but it is not firewood, but bark or spruce bark cuttings (waste from local sawmills). Skewers, as you know, came out with a taste of resin.
The next day, we again ventured to use one of the local restaurants, and taste the local cuisine.
Restaurant "Velvet" (also advised by locals) - the service is better, the menu is varied, but as it turned out, more than half of the dishes are missing. As a result, my husband also had a fever of 39.
As it turned out, local dishes are based on homemade dairy products of questionable quality.
We decided to use the dishes offered in "Scythia".
Cooking is not tasty, so ordered only once.
In short, even if you have the means for a wonderful holiday, you will not be able to eat tasty and safe in Vorokhta.
During the eight days of stay (from the moment of arrival until the end of the holiday) the room was never cleaned. . .
