Rested family in Vorokhta and in the Carpathians in general for the first time. June 2016. I learned about tourist complexes Rest all year round from the Internet when they were looking for a tour to the Crimea (2013), at the same time they noticed a link to a vacation in the Carpathians, but Crimea attracted more. This year we decided to explore the west of Ukraine as well. We drove with skepticism, saying that for such a price they lay too softly. Clearly expected to see pitfalls. Looking ahead, I can say that everything promised and stated on the site about the rest and about the rooms is pure truth. We were pleasantly surprised when, due to circumstances, we were forced to refuse a 4-bed room, i. e. There were three of us, not four. And the administration made a noble gesture and recalculated for us a quadruple room at the price of a triple room - at the old prices (the room was booked 2 months before arrival and the price was then lower). Nowadays, few people make concessions, especially in monetary matters. For us, this was one of the indicators of attitude towards tourists.
We lived in the 5th building three of us in a quadruple room, no one tried to relocate or compact us. The room is very comfortable, clean - they played the "Auditor" - spots, dust, fungi - NOT DETECTED !! ! Enough lockers, hangers and towels. Hot water around the clock - because. the hotel has its own boiler room. Hairdryer available. Cleaning in the bathroom every day, change of towels. Yes, there was no refrigerator in the room, it's a fact, we knew about it when we were driving. BUT the hotel staff offered to store perishable food in the fridge on the ground floor in the dining room. Nothing was lost, as much was left, so much was taken away. In the corridors there are coolers with cold and hot water - purified from Spring. Ironing board in the lobby, on each floor, free access. Wi-fi catches normally.
Now about nutrition. I admit, there were fears of poisoning, because. we went in the summer and I didn’t know how scrupulous the kitchen staff was in their duties. And we were traveling with a child. BUT now I can say that all my fears dissipated on the first day of my stay. The menu is excellent and varied. Even fruits were on the table - cherries, apples, oranges, and in the Carpathians, sorry, the earth is non-fertile. Every day they spoiled us with pastries from syrniki and donuts to buns and pies, excellent hot dishes with fragrant herbs and spices, national dishes. The portions are very large and always warm. The waiter brings those main dishes when you are already directly at the table. Again, comfort and service. And for adults, on the first evening and the farewell evening, a decanter of wine was allocated to each table. Another plus I note - each room is assigned its own table for the entire period of stay. It is very convenient not to look for a place every time, but to know that everything is already laid for you at a certain table. A trifle, but nice. The staff, the administration are coddling with tourists, everything is thought out. Each dinner, a list of excursions was read out with a detailed description of each hike, this is for those who missed this information on the bus, each guide to his group, upon returning home, makes an announcement of excursions and hikes for tomorrow. Very nice and comfortable. At the reception, it was easy to buy raincoats, rubber boots and galoshes for rent. the weather in the Carpathians is very capricious and unpredictable. but as you can see, and here everything is provided by the administration - no rain will spoil the mood if the tourist is prepared and equipped. It was also possible to buy Carpathian teas at a very affordable price. Speaking of prices, I want to pay tribute to the fact that the guides tactfully warned us where to shop and where not to. There was no feeling that your pocket was being sold for the sake of lured, familiar souvenir merchants. It was the same with feeding at lunchtime - very neat and clean cafes with affordable, and sometimes even ridiculous prices, were always recommended. They ate not like a child. Among the shortcomings of the hotel, if you really find fault, can be attributed to the lack of ATMs on site. Well, or you need to immediately come with the money. In principle, this is not such a problem.

Now about the guides themselves. We must give all the guides their due in their patience and endurance. I did not hear a single roar from their side, everything was explained and clarified as many times as the tourists required. I especially want to mention the guide Galina - STAR (in the good sense of the word, that YO, then YO) She made our day)). The smile never left our faces as we listened to her. Very colorful and humorous. Others are also great, that Galina was remembered the most! May God bless her! She even memorized WHAT tourists wanted to buy from souvenirs and suggested where it is better to buy it. Many thanks to Vladimir, Marichka, Vasily for your interesting excursions, humor, endurance, goodwill. I was also pleasantly surprised by the photographer and videographer - she very delicately and unobtrusively filmed tourists during the excursions. Then it was possible to order either a photo or a disk with photos and videos. In no case did she put pressure on the choice of the client, did not slip illiquid photos. And the photos actually came out great. Happy to order.
Now for the entertainment part. She was also skeptical - they say, well, you will have fun as you want. NOOOOO, I was wrong again, fortunately. On the territory of the main breeding building for all tastes and ages - here you have a playground, a la Roshen, and a volleyball court, and a fire (every evening they lit a fire where you could sit with friends while the children roasted marshmallows or canapes on a fire, feeling as if in a pioneer camp or a boy scout camp), next to it is an imitation of a rural corner - a HAYLOT!! ! Yes, yes, it was a curiosity for us city dwellers. Even further away is a bar and a dance floor, where all sorts of events took place every evening - both a staged matchmaking and a wedding in the Hutsul style (as promised on the site), and a karaoke evening, and dancing in the Hutsul style. By the way, children's discos were also held every evening, in front of adult revelers. A very pleasant and colorful mass entertainer. Simply and sincerely, she lit every evening. True, there was one nuance at the Hutsul wedding - the uncle-leader, who was entrusted with entertaining at the wedding, offered TERRIBLE vulgar contests, maybe in the villages these are in trend, but many vacationers were shocked by those contests, because not only young people participated, but also people in age. UNCLE DRIVE)) or let him change the contests at least)) If you don’t want to participate in events, there is a recreation area for adults - hookah, coffee, beer, whoever wants what. A very beautiful green area on the territory of the main building - flower beds, rockeries, alpine slides. Pleases the eye. And at the gate of the main building there is a small souvenir shop, everything is very cheap there compared to other souvenir markets in Yaremche and Bukovel. And so every evening there was crowded with tourists. I recommend, there is a very good choice and a very nice seller - this is not advertising, this is IMHO. Another pleasant surprise, as well as many things in Vorokhta, horseback riding. It was very unusual (first experience in the saddle) and magical. The whole family rode horses through the forest, along the mountain river. Feelings - as if you were transported into the past centuries of noble ladies, gentlemen. The price of pleasure was also very surprised, in the city it is much more expensive and less time consuming. I will also give credit to the horse breeder - he was very helpful and very kindly showed the most beautiful places for photography, took pictures with our camera without any problems, from several angles. And a few days before the walk, it was really possible to take a free mini-course on horseback riding, yes, a circle, but this turned out to be enough to at least understand how to sit in the saddle and how to control the horse.
For a week of rest in Vorokhta, it’s as if you live a small life, you learn so much new things, you see, you feel on this tour. And what else is the charm of this holiday, that there is such an abundance and opportunities for recreation, that you can come there for five years in a row and go to new places every time. These are mountain hikes, and recreation with a picnic in the forests, and bus excursions to neighboring cities and villages. For every taste, age, opportunity. And in between excursions, if not enough, cycling, horse riding, rafting, zip-lining were offered. And it's been a month since we returned home. and bright pictures of the Carpathians suddenly flash before your eyes like a kaleidoscope. I really remember the bridges of Vorokhta and a halt in the woods, where you could lie down and lazily eat blueberries, right in the clearing. Vacation was a success!! ! Thanks to everyone who provided us with it and invented it. Keep it up!! ! Develop in the same spirit)).
