Nature + gastronomic tourism
We decided to treat ourselves to mountain landscapes and clean air for May Day. The choice fell on the Transcarpathian region. Traveling with a 7-month-old child was somewhat frightening, but the move itself remained the most unpleasant moment - we concluded that we would not travel by trains anymore (((We chose Volovets smt for a "basic vacation" - it's close to all the main attractions of the region, there are pharmacies , hospital, ambulance, very convenient transport interchange (railway and car) well, nature is like in any Carpathian village - super! Internet Everything is quite normal and decent, for ridiculous money we got a spacious room, a good condition bathroom and just GREAT 2 meals a day! We traveled with a baby, so we didn’t want to bother looking for cafes - and we didn’t lose! When she found out that we were in Transcarpathia for the first time, she began to cook national cuisine for us every day - it was super! ouse, gambovtsi, dumplings, tokan with cheese and cracklings, green borscht, buttered zupka. . . and everything was tastier than in the local "restaurants". We went somewhere every day. We visited Mukachevo with all the sights, Mezhyhirya, Synevyr, Shipot waterfall, Khust, the valley of daffodils, a rehabilitation center for bears, a deer farm, a trout farm in Zhdinyaevo. Went to Mount Plai. Now about the FOOD))) We visited all the "restaurants" in Volovets, the "Cherry Orchard" in Mukachevo, the Arnik's hut near Synevyr, ate self-caught trout in the "smerekovy dvir" in Zhdinyaevo. Our "master's food" was just as good, and sometimes even better. The prices in local restaurants are captivating, everything is very tasty, the dishes are original, the trout is superb!! ! Be careful with the bograch - in some establishments he is already very fiery!
After a stay in Transcarpathia, there were very pleasant impressions and memories. We will definitely go there in the season! The Carpathians in winter are a fairy tale. . .
