" Do not forget to buy vignettes in Romania and Bulgaria, otherwise you will be fined when leaving the country. The tracks are not bad, even better than in Bukovel. There is a track 12 km long, you go 40 minutes in complete relaxation. There are trails for every taste. We had a problem with snow. It only snowed on January 5th. I was very pleasantly surprised by the gondola lift. You go to Yastrebets for 25 minutes in a closed gondola, neither wind nor snow blows on you. The price for lifts and equipment is the same as in Bukovel. Now about the hotel. The most important and unpleasant: the hotel staff STEALS MONEY!! ! from personal belongings and bags. Came after breakfast and found it missing. The money was hidden in the wife's bag. They took 100 Lev from the pocket of the trousers, 2x20€ and 3x100$ from the bag. They took several bills from each pile, apparently the staff was trained in the basics of rat-keeping. The belittling agent with the name Borislav didn’t even come, he limited himself to calling the hotel administrator, and the type administrator organized a search of the staff, but said that if there was no evidence of theft such as a video or photo, then sorry - she couldn’t help, she was very sorry. The truth provided a safe at the reception for free. The desire to contact the police did not help. In general, protect yourself as best you can. The hotel itself is barely 3 star. The soundproofing is extremely low, the walls are knauf and apparently poorly insulated, in the rooms in the right wing on the 2nd floor, music from the dancing club, which is located in the basement, is heard all night. All sounds can be heard between neighboring rooms, including sounds from the toilet and neighbors snoring. Although there are rooms with normal soundproofing. We only had breakfast at the hotel, which was ok. As a result: if it were not for the "rat" that stole the money, the impression would be normal.

Spa - we saw a manicure table in an unlit room, we could not sign up for a manicure - the girls work according to some extremely difficult schedule. There is a massage. Mediocre, but you can go. Breakfasts - announced from 7.30. In fact, from 8.00. At eight, the lifts are already starting to work, it's a pity to lose time. Breakfast does not please with a special variety, however, there are fresh vegetables, sausage cheese, muesli, scrambled eggs and fried sausages. They preferred to dine in other places. The slopes of the resort - can be characterized by the word "unkempt". During the thaw, we did not see any working cannons, after a heavy snowfall, not a single snowcat left for two days, the snow was knee-deep. Maps and signs are extremely rare, at first it is difficult to understand where you are and where you need to turn to go to the right place. For a beginner snowboarder, this would be hell in general - the blue runs contain a lot of absolutely gentle sections that you have to overcome on foot. Wide "training" slopes are at the very top, a tablet lift leads there, very sharp, and skiers fell there. In general, you can go there to rest only for the sake of nature - huge snow-covered firs, wonderful air. As for the rest, I don’t want it myself, and I don’t advise my friends.

Bansko is much better in this respect. prices everywhere are also doubled compared to Bansko, apparently the reason for this is the remoteness of the resort from the city of Samakovo. The rooms are large, but there is no hairdryer in the bathroom, each room has only one small closet and a chest of drawers, there was nowhere to put things. The hotel has a SPA with a sauna and a swimming pool for free, but for some reason it only works until 20-00. There was a disco in the hotel in the basement, they said the best in Borovets, there was also an erotic show, but I didn’t come for that and they prevented me from sleeping. The hotel stands almost on the outskirts of Borovets, but it is not far to go to the ski lifts, in the morning up the hill, in the evening down. Every day we went through a bunch of shops where prices do not bite. Now the cons: I wanted to take food only for breakfast, but the difference was not significant, so I took HB, went for breakfast and dinner, but the variety was lame, for breakfast the same thing every day, for dinner they varied a little hot, but everything is very poor. Drinks in the morning: one type of juice from the machine (apple), coffee, tea, etc. from the machine was barely warm and the water sometimes ran out, in the evening it was paid and it took a long time to wait.
