Upon arrival (at one in the morning) they served a bus in which the air conditioner did not work! I have more than 30 years of driving experience, but I did not know that the windshield is wiped with a palm from fogging. We were at the hotel at about 1 am, we waited for an hour and a half until the young baboons "find" the keys, apparently they wanted to paw. No water, no sandwiches. For 2 weeks, the waiters 1 (one) time asked "drink"? running past. The territory is not bad... it was five years ago: stone paths are not for children and strollers! Minigolf is abandoned, in the fitness room (because of which the hotel was chosen) half of the machines are broken, you can only break through in the morning. The food is normal, for 4, the sea was transparent for 2 days, full of grass and camel poop. The rooms are cleaned perfectly, thanks to the cleaning lady Sonya.

Accommodation, room, food (including for children), the sea is good, separate plus a large green shady area - even at noon it was comfortable to walk. The animation worked great too. There is a note on the sun loungers on the beach. There are few umbrellas / shadows, there are signs “do not book sun loungers”, but at the same time, the hotel workers themselves on the beach take places in the morning for money, then go to collect tribute. As a result, vacationers also run at 6 am to take sun loungers. I am sure that the hotel management can solve this by working with the staff + collecting towels from the "occupied places" a couple of times.

Now for the guide and tour operator. At the end of June, there was chaos with flights from Tunisia to Ukraine. We didn't feel it. A day before departure, the hotel guide TUI Aziz warned us that our flight was postponed indefinitely. To the question “Our actions?
"The answer was unambiguous: " The tour operator extends the number for you, do not worry. Everything will be GOOD. ” And so it happened, we stayed at the hotel for another 4 days (for 100% TUI account) on the same conditions (we were not moved from the room, we were not limited with all inclusive).

On the morning of June 29, the guide said that today we had a scheduled flight. 6 hours before departure, he called the exact time of departure from the hotel. “GOOD! » Transfer on time, check-in fast, departure on time. In terms of problems with charters - I don't know how they managed it.

P. S. Thank you TUI for a great vacation and a carefree time while waiting for the flight back home.

Special thanks to our hotel guide Aziz for round-the-clock support and providing all the information we need.

Never before have I so passionately wished that my vacation would end as soon as possible. All 10 days it resembled a monstrous obstacle course that was built for us by "hospitable" Tunisians. For two hours we were not settled in the room, and we arrived at 2 pm, i. e. in the heat of the day Instead of a room, we were sent to swim on the beach, right in jeans that were already stuck to the body, or to change clothes in the toilet next to the reception, and leave the suitcases on the floor. A two-year-old child, howling like a beluga, did not speed up our check-in for a moment. In the end, we were settled in a renovated building of a 3 * hotel instead of the usual 4 *. We were led for a long time through stuffy casemates with windows painted over with white paint. Right there the walls were painted by painters, the stench was terrible. From that moment I was finally convinced that Russian tourists in this hotel belong to the class of insects. It became very disgusting. The air conditioner in the room did not work, the TV too. The room stank of paint. We found a faster ry way to our room - on a rusty spiral fire escape to the 4th floor. Ten times I had to climb back and forth with a 2-year-old child, a Russian girl with cerebral palsy climbed the stairs with us, who arrived at the same time with us in this wonderful hotel and also settled in the Russian ghetto. When the building is completed, there will be several entrances, and elevators are also provided there, but for now the Russians can live like this, "such beauty" will not disappear. I still had a question: "Which room did I book 2 weeks before the trip, is it really this one? And why did they immediately confirm the reservation if they did not have normal rooms for us? " All the days we saw Russian tourists at the reception, begging to settle them in a room, and then asking to give them a room in another building. At the same time, non-Russian tourists were always settled instantly and joyfully. We were moved the next day.
The restaurant, which looked like a big anthill, never had free tables, plates, spoons. There was a long queue for food. And once there was a queue in front of the closed doors of the restaurant at the entrance in the midst of dinner. We didn't go to dinner that evening. Several times I had a desire, after standing in line for plates and food and not finding a free table, to sit down and dine on the floor.
The room was cleaned 2 times out of 10 days, despite the decent tips, which hawala with pleasure. For some reason, towels from the room were regularly taken away in the morning and even in the evening they forgot to bring them back. We dried ourselves with a sheet, for the first time in our lives. Bed linen could be removed in the morning and not made again for 6 hours. You come in the afternoon from the sea, and you have only bare mattresses and a crying child who wants to sleep. It would be better not to touch anything at all.
The most disgusting memories of Royal Salem are associated with the beach. There were not enough free sunbeds for all, especially under umbrellas. Mattresses on sunbeds are scary. In the morning, not everyone got them, but in the evening at 5 o'clock, when you still want to sunbathe, they pulled them out right from under the people lying, because the employees had to go home as soon as possible. The national question was also clearly manifested here. Employees on the beach and by the pool unmistakably copied our compatriots and it was from them that the sunbeds were expropriated in favor of other vacationers. Once they stole a sunbed from us right in front of our eyes, along with our towel, we only took a step back. They took him directly and dragged him in the opposite direction from us in order to put an Arab pot-bellied peasant. It was him, despite the fact that he came with his Arab wife, wrapped in a black blanket. In the end, they put him, though not on our sunbed, we won it back in battle, but the poor woman stood for a long time, like a date palm in the Sahara, while her husband was crazy in the shade and reading a newspaper.
I want to scream about the sea. I have never seen anything more monstrous and disgusting in my life. Smelly slurry from algae and household waste in the form of bottles, glasses, bags, watermelon peels and even gaskets was nailed to our beach in an unceasing stream. All this had to be kneaded with one's feet in order to enter this, so to speak, sea. We swam on other beaches, on ours an attack of vomiting began.
I still do not understand what all this was and for what we paid a decent, in general, amount of money. I do not like to look for flaws, I speak English and I also know how to smile, but in this case nothing helped. Everything was just bursting at the seams, and they could not cope with anything at all. At parting at the reception, they told me: "Yes, madam, everything must have been terrible, but you just chose the wrong time. You need to come to our hotel from October to May, and then everything will be wonderful. " I wonder if our tour operators know about this?
P. S. The flight with Transaero, transfer, excursions were impeccable. The hotel guide did a great job. When the child got sick, I had to use insurance and call a doctor. Here, too, everything was clear and professional. Everything else is just FUCK!!!!!!!! !

Literally 2-3 days before the trip, they called from the agency and said that there were some inconsistencies with the hotel, but I can go to the Marhaba Royal Salem 4 * hotel for the same money. Since there was an appropriate attitude, I agreed, although the reviews about Royal Salem were worse. The flight went well, we were met at the airport normally. On the bus, I found out that from the whole plane I was going to this hotel alone. They gave me a single number (I was alone). The room was basic but without a balcony. She asked to change. They promised to do it the next day, asking what the reward would be. Upon learning that only chocolate would be the reward, they were upset, but the number was changed. Settled in room 2 1 2 in the main building overlooking the entrance and the fountain. The room is normal with a balcony When you check into the room in the bathroom, there were 2 disposable shampoo sachets. During my entire stay there, I have not seen more. She herself took a bar of soap from the maid's cart. When I discovered that the air conditioning was not working, I turned to the reception. The master did not take long to wait and quickly fixed the problem. The room was almost never cleaned, although I left a dinar every day. There was no safe in the room, they offered to take a safe next to the reception for 2 dinars per day. Much to my regret, I didn't use it. Although I read that theft is rampant in this hotel, I never thought that this would affect me. Nothing has ever been lost in any country, in any hotel. I left my passport, Russian money and dollars in a suitcase under the lining. The suitcase was closed with a padlock (symbolic). I'll tell you about the missing money later. As for free sunbeds near the pool and the sea, I always found a place, m. b. because finding a free sunbed for one person is easier. As for food, I can say that they fed without frills, but you can eat, especially since I am not picky in this matter. I was not asked to tip for service. Bottled water is included in the all inclusive. Local alcohol, you can drink all sorts of alcoholic cocktails. Always for lunch and dinner there were 4 types of delicious ice cream. Of the fruits were: oranges, nectarines, watermelons, melons, sometimes apricots. Separately, it must be said about the sea. The sea is very dirty, algae both on the shore and in the water, and, in addition to algae, there is household garbage. Although communicating with tourists from other hotels, I heard that everything was in order with the purity of the sea. And now about the most unpleasant moment for me. One day, when I decided to count the cash, I did not find any of the $315 in my suitcase. The suitcase was also locked. There were $11 and 30 dinars left in the bag. Everything was in place. At the reception, having learned about the incident, they asked to come in the morning. After reading my statement, Gen. the manager promised to give an answer before I left. To my concerns about leaving expensive clothes in my room, he assured me that I could be calm. Although in some reviews I read that some of the clothes were missing, as well as part of the money from the safe. I also saw the maid opening my perfume. To tell me he can't catch the thief, gen. the manager took two days. I didn't expect any other answer. Of course, he believes me that I had money, but he can’t help me in any way. He can only give his money. Now I regret that I didn’t say: come on if you can’t clean up the hotel. People, if you have already bought tours to this hotel, keep your money in a savings bank, that is, in a safe. Maybe it will save you at least from stealing money. Next time, if I go to Tunisia, then definitely not to this hotel. To leave the room calmly and not think about whether you will count your things or not. This is my first time writing a review, so apologies if it's messy.

Pegasus, as always, is in his repertoire - not only did this happen with the hotel, but one of the 7 days was taken away. With heaps of approvals and calls to the travel agency, I had to take Royal Salem, there was simply nothing else.
The flight went well, we were met, taken to the hotel - everything was as usual.
At the reception, two good fellows tried to pick up a room with a sea view for $ 5 a day. I refused, I almost never go into the room, only showers and bains, the rest of the time - the sea, the city, excursions. The guys immediately got bored, they offered a room on the 1st floor 106. The balcony overlooks the entrance to the hotel, to the fountain. The room is like a room, I don’t need special frills, it’s clean and okay. Not even embarrassed by the accumulation of Tunisian children - they have a vacation and they also rested in this hotel on the same floor.
The food at the hotel is normal, without frills, there are few fruits - plums and apples, a couple of times there were pomegranates and pears, ice cream is very tasty, everything else is practically the same as everywhere else.
Service in Tunisia is absent as a phenomenon, they complain about poverty, they take tips, but they don’t want to work at all.
Waiters work hard, and everywhere: in a bar on the sea, in a snack bar, in the main restaurant. They are friendly, smile, greet, but as soon as something needs to be done, they immediately pretend that they do not understand anything or are very busy. And the attitude is to tourists of any nationality. We sat with a Frenchwoman in the evening at the bar, the lady smoked a lot, cigarette butts were already falling on the table, and the waiter just ran through and collected empty dishes, he did not react to the lady's remarks. Employees - women are very different from men. They are not only friendly and smiling, but they really work, they cleaned the room, laid out swan flowers. It is a pity that there are very few of them.
Theft in this hotel is rampant. They offer to book a safe for 2 dinars, you don’t take a safe - 70% guarantee that they will definitely get into the room and pull out the money. I am not writing unfounded, I myself got into a situation.
I returned from a walk to the room - the door was open, the suitcase was opened, all the things were shaken up. I went to the reception, told the situation - they groaned and said that it was necessary to book the safe. The door was offered to be repaired only in the morning. I had to explain that this would not work. After about 20 minutes, their locksmith came and made the door. There was only Russian money in the room, she carried a phone, a camera and dinars with her, so the guys broke off. A friend of mine was less fortunate, after all, 50 euros were pulled out of her wallet, which was in a locked suitcase in her room. And again the kids only groaned and offered to use the safe. From the reaction of the reception staff, the conclusion suggests itself - this is everywhere and one of the ways to improve the well-being of hotel employees.
I saw such a cockroach in my room - beauty (2.5 - 3 centimeters in length, red-haired, fat), there were no other living creatures. Cats walk around the hotel not only on the territory, but also in the lobby and stairs.
The beach is dirty, the sea is dirty, algae lie in a thick layer on the sand.
They removed algae during my trip once, four trucks were loaded, tired and left to continue working, so half of the beach remained black.
If it weren't for the excursions, a nasty sediment would have remained in general. And there is something to see in Tunisia. But more on that later.

I liked it very much, despite minor flaws (when they watched the history of Tunisia, the Russian translation did not always sound), but there is still something to see: at the entrance they were greeted with dances, riders showed their skills, they watched a beautiful performance - a Tunisian wedding. Trip Carthage - Sidi Bou Said - Tunisia. The guide from the travel agency TTV is a journalist by profession Abel (asked not to be confused with Abel). He spoke very interestingly, in detail, answered all questions from the point of view of a journalist. We looked at the ruins of Carthage, a beautiful blue-and-white city of artists. What are the views of the sea there - you will swing, you took cool pictures, wandered around the capital. If you do not pay close attention to the roadside dirt (in places it is not cleaner in our own places), then looking from the bus window at olive groves, cactus thickets, beautiful villas is a real pleasure. Shopping - shopping in Tunisia is best done in shopping centers. Sousse has a tourist area - a port, a large number of shops and shops, various cafes and restaurants. You can ride the rides, go to the botanical garden. You can also buy various souvenirs there. I didn’t like the medina in Sousse - it strongly resembles a flea market, because of the large number of local people you feel uncomfortable.

Smile more often and don't expect super apartments from 4 stars. The food was good, the territory was green and well-groomed, there were almost no Russians, there were no problems with sunbeds at sea (after all, it was already the end of the season) In the evening, a very imposing uncle sang live in the lobby bar, a pleasant relaxed atmosphere, an interesting audience. In general, people, go, relax, smile more often, do not look for negativity everywhere, enjoy your vacation.

And only when we arrived in Tunisia, we realized that all the shit that was written in the reviews is an absolute lie! Apparently this is written by competitors, narrow-minded people or people offended by life!
So, we rested from September 25 to October 6. It was the fastest passport control in my life, we were no more than 10 minutes at the Tunis airport. There were no queues, 6-7 terminals worked, so after filling out the card for each entrant, we immediately went through passport control and took our luggage without any problems. There were air conditioners at the airport. You should know that this country is poor, so the population is trying in every possible way to earn money, in principle, like ours. Therefore, the boys run up, offering to take the luggage. We arrived at our hotel, stopping at other hotels and already considering the city.
Check-in with us was also easy and fast, we did not speak Russian. It should be understood, nevertheless, that this is not Russia, and there are few people who speak our Russian here, in other respects, as in other countries. They spoke English and a little Tunisian (Salamaleikum - hello, shukran - thank you). They like it when they say something in their language, however, like any other person. It would be nice for you to be spoken to in a language that you understand, for example, in English and a few words in Russian, than only in your own Tungun. They are the same people so treat them normally and they will treat you even better!! ! So without ANY SUPPLEMENT they gave us a very nice room in the main building of the hotel. Walking around the hotel, I tried to find rooms overlooking landfills or chicken coops, as all kinds of crazy people wrote in the reviews, of course, I never saw anything like that. The territory is very green, neat, large. After settling, of course, I immediately want to go to the sea, so we went. I expected that there would be no sunbeds and mattresses on the beach, as the same sick people wrote. Ha ha, choose any sunbed, umbrella, wherever your heart desires. Never for the whole rest did not get up at 6-7 in the morning to take a sunbed, as the same idiots wrote, they went to the sea after breakfast and calmly lay down on sunbeds under umbrellas. Of course, it’s not interesting to lie down, we went for a swim, I’ll say right away we didn’t swim in our hotel, but in a neighboring 5 *, it’s cleaner somehow. But this did not bother us at all, we walked literally 10 steps and swam where we wanted. My husband played volleyball on the beach, I'm not a fan, so I sunbathed at that time. Tip: use a sunscreen with a high protection of 25 or higher, the sun is very hot even in autumn. We ate at our restaurant, where we were served excellently, and we were never given a tip. Absolute lie about the fact that they will not serve if you don't tip!! ! We also visited another restaurant, no one kicked us out of there and the service was also excellent. But still, you need to eat in your restaurant, but we got along well with the waiters) The food is similar everywhere, only the interior is different, and this was done so that there was no crowding in one restaurant and emptiness in another. We were addicted to tennis, we played it every day. So the hotel is beautiful, rest and all the best!

My opinion is that Tunisia is no longer a foot!! ! Arabs constantly pester on the beach and sell cigarettes terribly annoying!
