Rested "in Royal Salem from July 05 to July 15.2012 from Coral with two children. Never before have I so passionately wished that my vacation would end as soon as possible. All 10 days it resembled a monstrous obstacle course that was built for us by "hospitable" Tunisians. For two hours we were not settled in the room, and we arrived at 2 pm, i. e. in the heat of the day Instead of a room, we were sent to swim on the beach, right in jeans that were already stuck to the body, or to change clothes in the toilet next to the reception, and leave the suitcases on the floor. A two-year-old child, howling like a beluga, did not speed up our check-in for a moment. In the end, we were settled in a renovated building of a 3 * hotel instead of the usual 4 *. We were led for a long time through stuffy casemates with windows painted over with white paint. Right there the walls were painted by painters, the stench was terrible. From that moment I was finally convinced that Russian tourists in this hotel belong to the class of insects. It became very disgusting. The air conditioner in the room did not work, the TV too. The room stank of paint. We found a faster ry way to our room - on a rusty spiral fire escape to the 4th floor. Ten times I had to climb back and forth with a 2-year-old child, a Russian girl with cerebral palsy climbed the stairs with us, who arrived at the same time with us in this wonderful hotel and also settled in the Russian ghetto. When the building is completed, there will be several entrances, and elevators are also provided there, but for now the Russians can live like this, "such beauty" will not disappear. I still had a question: "Which room did I book 2 weeks before the trip, is it really this one? And why did they immediately confirm the reservation if they did not have normal rooms for us? " All the days we saw Russian tourists at the reception, begging to settle them in a room, and then asking to give them a room in another building. At the same time, non-Russian tourists were always settled instantly and joyfully. We were moved the next day.
The restaurant, which looked like a big anthill, never had free tables, plates, spoons. There was a long queue for food. And once there was a queue in front of the closed doors of the restaurant at the entrance in the midst of dinner. We didn't go to dinner that evening. Several times I had a desire, after standing in line for plates and food and not finding a free table, to sit down and dine on the floor.
The room was cleaned 2 times out of 10 days, despite the decent tips, which hawala with pleasure. For some reason, towels from the room were regularly taken away in the morning and even in the evening they forgot to bring them back. We dried ourselves with a sheet, for the first time in our lives. Bed linen could be removed in the morning and not made again for 6 hours. You come in the afternoon from the sea, and you have only bare mattresses and a crying child who wants to sleep. It would be better not to touch anything at all.

The most disgusting memories of Royal Salem are associated with the beach. There were not enough free sunbeds for all, especially under umbrellas. Mattresses on sunbeds are scary. In the morning, not everyone got them, but in the evening at 5 o'clock, when you still want to sunbathe, they pulled them out right from under the people lying, because the employees had to go home as soon as possible. The national question was also clearly manifested here. Employees on the beach and by the pool unmistakably copied our compatriots and it was from them that the sunbeds were expropriated in favor of other vacationers. Once they stole a sunbed from us right in front of our eyes, along with our towel, we only took a step back. They took him directly and dragged him in the opposite direction from us in order to put an Arab pot-bellied peasant. It was him, despite the fact that he came with his Arab wife, wrapped in a black blanket. In the end, they put him, though not on our sunbed, we won it back in battle, but the poor woman stood for a long time, like a date palm in the Sahara, while her husband was crazy in the shade and reading a newspaper.
I want to scream about the sea. I have never seen anything more monstrous and disgusting in my life. Smelly slurry from algae and household waste in the form of bottles, glasses, bags, watermelon peels and even gaskets was nailed to our beach in an unceasing stream. All this had to be kneaded with one's feet in order to enter this, so to speak, sea. We swam on other beaches, on ours an attack of vomiting began.
I still do not understand what all this was and for what we paid a decent, in general, amount of money. I do not like to look for flaws, I speak English and I also know how to smile, but in this case nothing helped. Everything was just bursting at the seams, and they could not cope with anything at all. At parting at the reception, they told me: "Yes, madam, everything must have been terrible, but you just chose the wrong time. You need to come to our hotel from October to May, and then everything will be wonderful. " I wonder if our tour operators know about this?
P. S. The flight with Transaero, transfer, excursions were impeccable. The hotel guide did a great job. When the child got sick, I had to use insurance and call a doctor. Here, too, everything was clear and professional. Everything else is just FUCK!!!!!!!! !
