My husband and I decided to relax in the country of the Soul, enjoy the beautiful nature, excellent Abkhaz cuisine and get a lot of impressions. Let's start in order. I didn’t want to think about any domestic difficulties on vacation, I wanted comfort and good food, so we chose the Dzhugeliya hotel on the Gagratur website. The following hotel services are declared on the site: "3 meals a day on a custom system, service by waiters. A large selection of hot dishes and salads, pastries, fruits, juices and compotes, meat and poultry dishes. All food is prepared only from environmentally friendly, local products not containing GMOs. It is very tasty and satisfying", "sauna with a swimming pool, billiard room, satellite TV panel".
And now - as it was in reality: Day one. Lunch-1 hour. Guests are compacted by seating 4 people at the table, regardless of desire. Menu: "shchi" from cabbage in cabbage broth, 2 slices of bread per person, macrons with a taste of meat (the whole dish is 70 grams), salad (bowl for the whole table of 4 people) - boiled zucchini, compote - x. z. from what, yellowish color-100 grams. No custom system, what you put is what you eat. In general, after dinner we went to the store for food, and it was like that every day. The apogee of "very satisfying and delicious food" happened when for the next dinner they served potato soup and buckwheat porridge, which they had not eaten for breakfast! That's the local color! The gruel to the "blotnyak" (which plays in the canteen) somehow did not eat. Once they served a piece of watermelon, in the evenings one cookie each. A funny incident happened at lunchtime on the third day. We almost ate and then a newly arrived vacationer came up. The waitress seated him at our table, where his lunch was placed. Looking at 3 sprats, he asked us: "Has someone already eaten here? " We replied that this was his portion, after which he came a couple of days before us, and after making sure that it was not we who ate him, he stopped coming to the dining room altogether. For a week of stay in the room, they wiped the floor once, took out the garbage 2 times, changed the towels 1 time, and then at our request. But electricity and water were turned off 4 times, and 2 times for a long time. The bucket of water we took from the fountain stood in the toilet until the end of the rest and was finally used for its intended purpose! There are no kettles or a cooler in the hotel, so you won't be able to drink tea. Excellent plastic windows let in not only the barking of the owners' Central Asian Shepherd Dog, but also water in the rain. Plastic chairs fly across the territory during the wind, and our parked cars stand nearby. From the staff at the hotel there is 1 cleaning lady and a waitress, so for all questions you need to contact the hostess (Rosa), in case you find her, who replies through her teeth: she would like to know when the electricity will be... There is no security at the hotel either , free entry for everyone, every now and then someone tried to enter the room, open it with a key when we were inside. There is no satellite television, from time to time they show 2 channels - 1 and STS. There is billiards and a sauna in the basement, but the hostess says that they are not and never have been! , not knowing that we saw them when we wandered around the hotel in search of Rosa! The hotel has: a creaky bed, an entrance door to the room that shakes from drafts, air conditioning, a TV panel, water, 2 loud-barking sheep dogs, a pen with chickens and turkeys - do not think that this is for vacationers to eat. Conclusion - a complete disappointment for the money, for reference: 7 days of staying at the hotel cost us 26.000 rubles + additional daily food costs.
