We would not recommend anyone to opt for the Raida Hotel, located in the old Gagra. If you arrive in your own car, be prepared to re-park it every day based on the wishes of the parking attendants, each with their own vision. If you say that you do not plan to drive, they will find a place for you in the corner and block other cars, in which case they will not bother you, but you can forget about sitting down and driving without unnecessary gestures. The safe was opened for us for a day (why it was closed at the time of our entry, that is, it was not ready, we did not understand) and they opened it only at the third request. When asked why it took so long, they explained to us: "We are busy. " On the first day, it turned out that there was a railway next to the hotel, literally 30 meters from the hotel. Electric trains run many times a day, but the travel agency "forgot" to say about this. Your holiday will be decorated with ants crawling out of holes in the floor. Each evening spent at the hotel will be accompanied by a playlist from the waterside cafe, where music is played from 20 to midnight very loudly. So loud that we could only fall asleep in earplugs. Assortment of music "we're going to the village to a disco, we're taking our music library" and "getting high". Sometimes you can get "clean" dirty towels and forget (or fail) to refill your shampoo and shower gel. A local bar can call you to live saxophone music by turning on a hard "plywood". Specifically, in our room, in view of its remoteness, Wi-fi did not break through, and it is unrealistically hot to sit in a file, since there is no air conditioning. The food seems to be good, but my wife had heartburn, which was not observed before. If you are late for a meal, you may hear "it's over" about a dish or sauce. There is no brewed coffee or juice even at breakfast, even for money. There are not enough tables in the dining room for so many people. Sometimes I had to wait. The neighbors broke the key in the lock, and I became an unwitting witness that the administrator began to explain to the guest how bad it was, since the keys to the rooms are in one copy, there are no duplicates, and you see, the original keys were made in Turkey. Is there really no 3.000 rubles in the hotel budget for making duplicate keys for 30 rooms?? ? Other neighbors were forced to pay for a sheet on which some stains were allegedly found, and when they refused to pay, they were forced to “wash out” the stains by hand in a basin! How is this at all?? ? On the second day of our vacation, the trash can disappeared from the beach and it began to foul before our eyes. Nobody cleans it up. In general, after a few days, there is a strong feeling that the hotel management has laid the vector of austerity on everything! We cannot say that there are no pluses in this hotel, but it makes no sense to talk about them, bearing in mind the minuses described above. The disadvantages could be partially offset by the human attitude of the staff, but here the Raida employees have big problems. A very unfriendly attitude from most of the employees only reinforces the negative impression of this place. We strongly do not recommend to everyone !! ! Director Rafael Manchevich, it would be worthwhile to reconsider something in the work of the hotel staff and service conditions.
