I already wrote about the hotel in a review, so I’ll dwell on the country in more detail. We flew to Adler, ordered a transfer from one of the companies, having agreed that we would go right away. But. . . They met us at the exit and said that we had to wait quite a bit for another flight. We looked - and he arrives in an hour. Plus, pick up the suitcases, etc. And then they will say another flight, we'll wait. . . Agreed with a taxi, 2500 rubles and no need to cross the border on foot. While we were going through passport control, he passed the checkpoint. It’s a little dumb, of course, to leave things with a stranger. . We arrived quickly, the border took 1 hour and we were there. So it would be 1600 rubles (2 adults and one child over 5 years old). We took a group transfer back - that's exactly what happened. Everything was clear, specially trained people loaded the suitcases onto a wheelbarrow and took them to the car on the other side of the border. During my vacation, I flew to Moscow on business - I also tried the cheapest type of moving. On a minibus from Gagra to the border (something like 100 rubles), and then on a 78 bus for 30 rubles to the airport. And back by bus 78 and a bus to Gagra (generally 60 rubles). In Abkhazia, of course, it is beautiful, nature, mountains. But at the same time, the devastation is terrible. Empty houses, abandoned hotels and sanatoriums. Much, as was done in the USSR, has remained so. On the embankment there are not enough parapets in pieces, and in some places the embankment in general. Dirt all around. No, of course the territory, hotels, courtyards, private hotels are being cleaned, but a step to the side and a lot of garbage. very little entertainment for children. Well, where did you see that you have to go to a banal trampoline by minibus from the center of New Gagra. Yes, everywhere in the resorts they are at every turn. Or 5D. In Moscow, they are all empty, but here the queue was 1 hour!!!! ! I didn't believe it when I looked at the clock. But there is nowhere to go in the evening and the children are asking. Offers for excursions are amazing - they are everywhere, you can’t take a step, as you are being pulled somewhere. It seems that this is the main business of the country! Were in Pitsunda, New Athos and Ritsa. everywhere is very beautiful - but you will definitely be brought in for wine, honey, a cafe where everything is captured by the guide and driver. It's a shame for the lost time, it's better to walk in beautiful places. The climate is good, the heat is well tolerated. Locals are different, who are friendly and benevolent, who are not. But a lot of indifference - it is not clear whether they want to sell you something or not! As if they are lazy and tired of everything! Haven't seen this anywhere else!
