I rested here with my wife for two weeks in July 2010. I will say right away that I did not like Abkhazia, but the separately taken Kyalasur boarding house is normal. At the Russian level - I would say "good", but those who rested abroad will understand me. For the same money, Egypt or Turkey is the best option.
We went by car from Moscow, because expected to travel around Abkhazia. We traveled for 2 days with one overnight stay in the Rostov region. The decision to go by car did not justify itself, because. the entire difference between the price of plane tickets and gasoline + overnight stay + fees remained in the pockets of ghouls-traffic cops. Probably the ideal option is by plane to Adler, then a transfer for 700 rubles.
So, about the boarding house. In the photo it seems that the cottages are separate. Actually it is not. The cottage is divided by a partition into two separate houses. Behind the wall live your neighbors, who have their own entrance from the opposite side. Hearing is good. Inside the cottage, everything is fine - air conditioning, two floors, shower, TV, refrigerator.

The location of the pension is very good. From the porch of the house you can see the sea and the beach, which is 20 meters away. Sunbeds and umbrellas on the beach are paid (30r) and free. Paid ones can be placed anywhere you like, free ones are tied with a cable and are located 15 meters from the sea on the very edge of the beach. The beach is sand and pebble. Quite clean and very few people, which is unspeakably pleasing!! ! Quiet, peaceful place for a perfect holiday with the family. For this "five points".
The food is so-so. For breakfast, porridge and cookies, occasionally eggs in various forms, cheese, sausage - quite good. For lunch, "nuclear" orange-colored soups with an abundance of pepper, the same goulash with pasta. Peppers are sprinkled everywhere (even in cabbage salads), plentifully and in abundance. They bring little food, so you need to be constantly ready to grab yourself a compote or something else. Food on the "three with a minus. " In the evening we went to a local "restaurant". Dinner came out 600-800 r for two. There are few main dishes, so for 2 weeks this restaurant "became boring". It is important to come here at 7-8 pm, before the main influx of hungry vacationers. Once we came after 9 when there was a full house. As a result, the order was fully received in 2.5 hours. Service is a separate song. Haven't seen worse yet. They also charge 10% extra. What can I say, if even in one of the most pretentious establishments in Sukhum, the entrance to the toilet is paid - 10 rubles.
Abkhazia itself left a mixed impression. Abkhazian hospitality is a tale to lure tourists. Abkhazians only need money from you, and by any means. Let's say Lake Ritsa. Entrance costs 250 rubles per person. There are no free parking lots (50 r) and free toilets (10 r) by the lake itself. On the way there is also Blue Lake, all approaches to which were occupied by "locals" with signs "Photo paid. 1 frame with 1 person = 10 rubles. 1 frame with 2 people = 20 rubles. " And so everywhere. Just pay. At the borders (and even in shops) it is considered normal when "locals" without a queue stand right in front of you, and in response to a remark they can beat you. In the center of Sukhumi, we were "hospitably" cut through the wheel with a knife on the car, and while we put the spare tire, they tried to pull things out of the passenger compartment. Well, things would be fine, so I had an unformatted spare tire - you won’t get to Moscow on this one, and the side cut was 10 cm long.
We went to Bedia by jeep. It is beautiful there. True, the promised "picnic with fruit and wine" took place on the river bank among the mountains of garbage. Just hell. We all quietly poured wine into the bushes (natural vinegar). So, I do not advise ordering tours with "picnics".

IMHO, the best option is not to leave the territory of the boarding house, so as not to spoil the impression of the rest.
