Be sure to go through online check-in on the website, it closes two hours before departure and opens 48 hours, otherwise you will pay 18 euros at the counter. There is no information on paid registration on the site, only on the “my ticket” tab. Therefore, many passengers did not know about it and scandalized at check-in. There is also a limit on the weight of hand luggage, up to 9 kg.

Arrival at Dubai airport 19.10. There is a strict mask regime everywhere. Everything is fast - passport control and analysis for Covid. Everywhere, your Covid certificate is checked for a long time, made at least 72 hours before departure and only in certified laboratories confirmed in the UAE. During the analysis, a special application is downloaded to your phone, a label with your data and a QR code is pasted onto your passport, and your mobile number is also taken. Until the results of the analysis, leaving the hotel is prohibited. We received the result by SMS at twelve at night, i. e. in four hours.

On excursions: due to the coronovirus and a small influx of tourists, groups are simply not recruited, for example, to the Indian Ocean, and the emirate and the city of Abu Dhabi are generally closed, Ferrari Park and the Sheikh Zayed Mosque, who have not seen, cannot be visited. The Flower Garden is also closed until autumn. The guide recommended the La Perla show in Dubai. But when you stop by, first look at the jewelry in the market, and then you are sent to the show, you get back to the hotel on your own. Next year we plan to be in Dubai, so we decided to go later without going shopping for three hours.
On the hotel: nice design, friendly staff at the reception. During the day there is a Russian-speaking girl. We had a room with a city view. They asked from the back of the mosque and downstairs. If you have a room with a sea view, ask not to give rooms on the sixth and seventh floor under the air conditioning unit, it is very noisy. With us, the family changed the number, because. it's just impossible to stay in it because of the noise. We were given room 217 with access to the terrace of the inner dome with a beautiful view of the city. Check-out at 12.00. We had a departure at 18.45, the transfer arrived at the hotel at 15.00. We extended the room for a fee for three hours.

The room is small, there are two beds, an armchair, a table, a kettle, cups, glasses, tea / coffee sets, two 0.5-liter bottles of water, a refrigerator, a hairdryer, an iron. They give out bathrobes, slippers and all cosmetics, which are regularly supplemented. Adapter on request. TV plasma with 130 channels, incl. 10 Russian speakers. Air conditioning cools the room well, does not make noise, cleaning every morning is of high quality. The balcony door opens onto a terrace where there is a bench and an armchair.
Internet in every room, excellent quality.
The hotel has a lot of Arabs, Russians, Kazakhs, Germans, Serbs, Italians. A lot of children, the Arabs are especially noisy. Lots of kids under 2.
Meals: we had half board, dinner can be changed for lunch. Breakfast 6.30-11.00, dinner 18.30-22.00. Entrance to the restaurant in a mask and gloves, which are issued at the entrance. I won’t write about the menu, many people have talked about it here. The only thing that is surprising, because the hotel is two kilometers from the famous Fish Market, serves only one type of fish for dinner - in batter or sauce. There were no seafood for four days at all, but on the eve of the Muslim New Year, a salad with squid and shrimp appeared, as well as rice with shrimp. The pastries are tasteless, they wrote a lot about divine croissants, which are better than in Paris, but alas, I couldn’t eat it, it was tasteless. Also did not like the coffee in the coffee machine, it's good that there was a decent custard in the kettle. For dinner, the confectioner did wonders - I confirm that it was very tasty and original serving of cakes, as well as desserts in jars. Direct hit - Tiramisu, yes, that's cool! Also, with half board, only water is served for dinner, other drinks are at an additional cost.
Beach: located on floor G, the sea was super. The water is clean, without oil impurities, soft entry, shallow, very suitable for children. Cleaned everywhere, very clean. There is also a swimming pool, but it is small for such a hotel, although it looks large in the photo. There is also a kids club where you can leave your baby for a couple of hours under supervision. There is table tennis, a beach volleyball net, a couple of bars with soft drinks. At the entrance to the beach on the second floor there is a gym and sauna. The beach is a solid five.

The area around the hotel: nothing remarkable. To the left - the Fairmont Hotel, Oscar alcohol market, a square with fountains. To the right is a mosque and a dirty neighborhood. There are local eateries, did not go, very dumb. There was a Russian restaurant, but the signs were boarded up. Everywhere garbage. There were many enclosed spaces, you could see markets or shops that could not withstand the pandemic. Only the souvenir Baloon remained, I advise you, the prices are reasonable for souvenirs. There is also a Syrian small grocery market and a pharmacy. Further, behind the boat monument, more civilized, there is McDonald's, Subway, a fish restaurant at the Wyndhem Garden Hotel.
We went to Sharjah, were in the Mega Mall, Sharjah City Center. By taxi from the hotel 30 dirhams one way. In the car, they sit only in the back seat, it is forbidden near the driver. From the hotel there are free shuttles to Ajman City Center (nothing interesting) three times a week and to the Sahara Mall in Sharjah (also nothing remarkable) once a week, an appointment at the entrance to the hotel. There are no shuttles from the hotel to Dubai due to the coronovirus, everything is cancelled.
Conclusions:
1. The hotel positions itself as a family-friendly and European-oriented hotel. Suitable for families with children. The all inclusive is a great option. But there is no children's menu. I think the administration needs to work on this and make at least a corner with food for children.
2. Pool. It is very small for such a number of vacationers with a depth of 70 cm, and only in a far corner the depth is 1.40. True, there is a children's paddling pool under a canopy, but gossips in black were constantly sitting there and chatting. Also, the territory of the hotel is small, there is no place to go and walk with a stroller.
3. The option is great for a quiet holiday. Silence, peace and sea. If you plan to retire from work, just lie back and enjoy, this option is great. I advise then to take only the system "all inclusive".
