Upon arrival at the Airport in Dubai, do not stand in any queue, stand on the retina - this is the leftmost line from the entrance, it is shorter and faster !! ! If you are with children - go along the left wall to the passport control room and your whole family will be shown without a queue!! ! We took breakfast in terms of nutrition, the quality is somewhere 3+, it’s poor, but you won’t stay hungry, and you didn’t want anything special in the morning, given the late dinners. Good undiluted orange juice, croissants, etc. Not far (from the hotel to the right, then diagonally to the left across the wasteland - LU-LU supermarket (full of products at Ukrainian prices, or even lower, a lot of inexpensive fruits, they always took mangoes, mangosteens, etc. . , full of dates in chocolate and stuffed - scored for presents). In the Emirate Mall, right from the entrance, there are a lot of all kinds of fast food for every taste, the prices are like in Ukrainian McDonald's. Change only $50 for derhams, no more, in all stores they accept $ 3.65, and in the market in Deira they counted us at 3.67, and change is given in derhams. By the way, about $: in many exchangers they do not accept banknotes of the 90s of release, in excursion bureaus too !! ! If they come across: they are accepted in the same LU-LU, in the exchange offices of the Dubai Mall and in the market in Deira. The location of the hotel is VERY SUCCESSFUL, we chose for a long time, we were not disappointed. Emirate Mall across the road, and this is the metro, a bunch of shops, ten times fewer people than in Dubai Mall, and the prices are EXACTLY THE SAME. From the entrance straight ahead and down the flight to the left is a huge Carefur supermarket, there is almost everything except branded items. We somehow went through it all the time, but we must start with it! We went on the penultimate day for some garbage, and rolled out a full cart. A lot of cheap knitwear like India-Bangladesh, we got t-shirts for kids for 10-15 dirhams, cool big beach towels for 29 dirhams, bedspreads, sweatshirts, etc. etc. Phone and tablet, by the way, they took it there, only this store gave an international guarantee. . . Of course, you can and should visit the Dubai Mall, but 12.000 stores are overkill and the roof is quickly leaving. . . We went to the beach from the hotel 1 time for the sake of a photo against the backdrop of Burj Arab, but there’s nothing to do there: the record the day before, it’s full of Indo-Pakistan, and the beach itself is ordinary. I really liked the beach in Dubai Marina: a few stops on the metro, an awesomely beautiful area, from the metro to the beach at a walking pace of 20-30 minutes, a chic free beach against the backdrop of skyscrapers and Palma, no Arabs, Indians and Malays, only Europeans, a closed bay, no winds and waves, a gentle entrance - it's very cool who is with the kids. Speaking of metro: buy a silver card and ride all the time. By the way, on one of the first days, choose 2-3 hours and ride the entire route from end to end, including both lines. See the whole city, return to your stop and you will be charged only 2.5 dirhams. Just choose not a day off and better in the daytime - fewer people. On excursions we took a safari, modern Dubai with a boat trip, 6 emirates and Abu Dhabi with a Ferrari park. This was enough with the head, we drove all the Emirates far and wide. Excursions were taken at the hotel from Natasha, they came up with a price list from Royal - she corrected the prices downward with a pen. You can also on the beach, but we did not dare. I liked everyone, all with lunch or dinner, 6 emirates with a trip to the Indian Ocean in Oman. In Abu Dhabi, it is necessary to go to Abu Dhabi for the sake of the white mosque. Only combine with a Ferrari is NOT WORTH! There is very little time left, the queue for the Ross formula is from 1.5 hours, we got on a day off - we stood for exactly 3 HOURS !!!! ! we barely managed to catch the bus, we didn’t see anything else, and there were 31 attractions! You need to go either as a separate excursion (there is one too) or by yourself on a rental car for the whole day. By the way, this hill is REALLY SCARY, but very cool. If you don’t get sick in the car and you get a buzz from the 200th Cruiser falling sideways from the dune, go on a safari. The Burj Khalifa, the Emirates Palace and the fountains were part of "Modern Dubai". Then we went to the fountains ourselves several times, there are 1000 compositions, all of them are cool in their own way. It's better to look - if you leave the Mall, go not to the right, but to the left along the parapet 30-50 meters, fewer people and the whole panorama is in front of you, if you're lucky, there are even benches. Moreover, I forgot - a map of Dubai + metro will be given at the hotel reception if you say "Dubai map". You can also go to Deira (metro station 21 on the green line). Gold market, spice market, cheap souvenirs, fur coats on every corner, and just look at the old city, rummage through small shops, bargain. By the way, about trade, for example: he asked for a plate he liked for a present, they say - 60 dirhams, but like there may be a good price. Okay, I’m standing and thinking, while my wife rowed handkerchiefs-magnets “for gifts to someone”, a second pretzel comes up, I ask him - how much is a plate? Says 40, I tell him 30, he's OK. We pay at the checkout, the first one returns, sees the plate and, in his infidel language, asks the second one "for how much? " And when he finds out, the muzzle warps, and after a minute we begin to laugh at the same time. In general, he asked for a long time where we were so cunning and gave me another pen with a keychain. East is a delicate matter. T-O-R-G-U-Y-T-E-S-S!! ! In general, I will summarize: for an active holiday without small children, the hotel is quite, somewhere 4 in Egypt and Turkey (the only thing is a small room, but you don’t come to run around the number). By the way, another hotel is being built nearby and it’s better to ask for windows on the Sailboat when you check in, if there is, they will give it without problems. And so hotels are being built everywhere, we saw such construction sites in Dubai Marina near the steep beach "fives", that mother do not cry. . . The location is excellent, the metro is close at hand, and this is the main thing, you will only sleep in the hotel. A relaxing beach holiday is not about Dubai at all. This is Egypt-Turkey. But this country definitely needs to be seen at least once in a lifetime. For now, everyone, the most important thing is to tune in to the positive, because nothing spoils the rest so much as the lean faces of our compatriots. Have a good rest!
