We rested at the end of July, i. e. in Ramadan; ) The rooms are excellent (in 5 * Turkey and Egypt - worse), spacious, overlooking the bay and pool; there are slippers, bathrobes, everything for making tea and coffee, a minibar (the contents are for a fee), a safe, an ironing board + iron, a hairdryer (although there is no corresponding socket in the bathroom to turn it on, therefore you can use it only in the room). An adapter for the local English type socket is provided at the reception. The disadvantage of the room: the constant slight hum of the air conditioning system, even if your air conditioner is turned off. Rooms are cleaned daily, bed linen is also changed daily (if you do not need it, put the corresponding flyer on the pillow). In general, how for such little money you can provide such a high-quality service, they know only in the Emirates!!!
A 0.5 liter bottle of water (still) is provided free of charge per person per day. I only saw carbonated drinks there like Cola, etc. Mineral and table water all without gas. By the way, their water is inexpensive and of high quality (1 liter costs about 3-4 dirhams). You should not be afraid to brush your teeth from the tap either : ) In general, drink juice! It's tasty, inexpensive and natural there; )
Leaving a deposit is very convenient, because. no need to constantly carry a wallet with you and you can connect to the Internet at any time (1 hour - 30 dirhams, 2 hours - 45 dirhams, 1 day - 90 dirhams... ; it is possible to connect for a shorter period, but I don’t remember the cost).

The rate is almost the same everywhere: 1 dollar = 3.65 dirhams.
The territory of the hotel is not very big, but well-groomed and clean. The beach is 200 meters away. In some places, when entering the bay, there are stones. There are plenty of sun loungers and umbrellas. The water in the bay at this time of the year is about 30 degrees, so you can swim to your heart's content : ) During the entire stay, oil was seen once in the form of yellow-brown foam.
In the evening, crabs run out of the water into the light and rush along the beach until the morning like mad; ) In general, trying to catch a crab, enjoying the sounds of the surf or sipping a "beer-cocktail" in a bar is almost all that you can entertain yourself with in the evening in Ramadan . It should be noted that the dark time of the day comes around at 19:00 local time, so you can have time to enjoy all of the above list of activities in one evening. Yes... you can still smoke a hookah. Music, discos, belly dancing - nothing. And in general, Ramadan is a special topic... Therefore, I recommend this period only to lovers of a calm, comfortable family vacation.
There are many Russians and Germans in the hotel. The latter, surprisingly, behave more noisily and unrestrainedly, therefore, for a restful sleep, it is better to ask for the 1st or 2nd floor (not the 0th).

Meals: 1st day - excellent, 2nd day - great, 3rd - good, 4th - normal, 5th - spicy, 6th day - monotonous, 7th: “I want borscht, pork cutlet and Napoleon! ” : ). In nutrition, habit plays a big role, because this is the most subjective point. With our food culture, probably, there will still be not enough meat and there will be a lack of mayonnaise; ) Cheeses and yoghurts are excellent, pastries are good, fruits are heavenly... By the way, about fruits. Not far from the hotel there is the Sharjah market, where you can buy these heavenly delicacies, incl. hitherto unseen. A taxi for 7 people will cost 30-35 dirhams (at first they will ask for 50, bargain! ). Coconuts, pineapples... - an average of 10 dirhams per piece, and mangoes (take green), oranges, grapes, limes and other wonders by weight - 10 dirhams per kilo. The more you take, the lower the price, so overeat and save; )
Excursions! There is a choice. We only visited, of course, Dubai. The tour was bought from RoyalPark for $110 per person. If you want a taxi, please! Somewhere around $ 250 for a car that can accommodate up to 7 people - it turns out much cheaper. From our hotel, people went with taxi drivers, they seemed to be satisfied. If the purpose of visiting Dubai is shopping, then definitely take a taxi! Our bus had a clear program: the Museum of Islamic Art, the Parus Hotel, an overview of Dubai, Palm Jumeirah with the Atlantis Hotel, a little more than 2 hours were allotted to the Dubai Mall area (Burj Khalifa, Dubai Mall, Aquarium, zoo, Arab market, fountains); Dinner with entertainment on a 2-story boat at Jumeirah Marina. Be sure to visit the oceanarium (35 dollars for two, if I'm not mistaken)!! ! Climbing the Burj Khalifa, in my opinion, is not worth buying: you will steal your time. Our guide Vitaly did not stop talking the whole way from Fujairah to Dubai, and in the city itself too. Can a taxi driver be able to tell so much about the history and culture of the people, I can’t say : )
And a few words about the weather, because everyone is scared: "Heat, heat... ". So... we felt the heat only at home in the domestic "improved comfort" electric train with air conditioning : ) Those who traveled in our trains and electric trains - do not be afraid of anything! But seriously, it's hot, but next to you there will always be either the sea, or a pool, or an air conditioner. We didn’t suffer from the heat, we didn’t get exhausted, and we didn’t even notice it : ), which is what I wish you!
In general, our vacation turned out to be super comfortable, super calm and enthusiastic at the same time. Dubai is a revolution of consciousness! Think for yourself, decide for yourself, and next year we will be back in Rotana!! ! ; )))
