We rested in the Emirates with my wife for the first time, the vacation was built according to a combined scheme: first the beach, then Dubai. For a beach holiday, this hotel was chosen from several proposed by the travel agent due to the fact that they are familiar with the Le Meridien network from holidays in Phuket. In general, the hotel did not disappoint, we were satisfied with the rest in it.

If we talk about individual components, then there were no problems with the settlement, but we arrived late at night, so the room was ready and we were immediately settled in room 600, this is the last room in the left wing (when exiting the elevator) of the building. Due to the fact that the room is the last one on the floor, they wanted to change it, but it was Friday and the hotel was 100% full, at the reception we were offered the opportunity to change the room from Monday, but we, having slept with this thought, refused this option. All rooms overlook the ocean, the 6th floor was sufficient for us in height, nothing interfered with contemplating the ocean, sunrise and sunset, so we decided not to twitch.

Since we had an AI package (basic level - blue bracelets) and we said that we would not use the minibar, we were charged a deposit of 300 dirhams upon check-in (the money was changed at the airport, the rate was 3.62 for $). The room has a couple of tea and coffee bags (free of charge), a kettle, all shower accessories too, there are no problems with this, there is an ironing board and an iron. In principle, according to the settlement, everything. Yes, there are no problems with drinking water in the hotel either, the water in the room is regularly replenished, if not enough, ask, they will give you extra. There were no special complaints about the cleaning of the room, if something was not delivered, you ask, they will give it in double quantity.

Meals: everything is traditional for breakfast: eggs in any form, bacon, sausages, vegetables, herbs, three or four types of cheese, well, jams, desserts, etc. any hotel is a basic set. For lunch, a couple of soups, three or four meat and fish options, pasta is made to order.
Everything is fine with dinners, every evening is themed, on Saturdays dinner is a day of seafood: lobsters, crabs, shrimp, shells of all sorts immensely. On some day, sushi and sashimi are prepared for dinner, tuna and salmon are simply the freshest. In principle, adults can also go to the hotel on a half board, if not for drinks. According to the basic AI system, beer is free (Corona, Heineken, Becks), local wine is white, red, rosé (did not try it), you can drink white and red, from Red Label strong whiskey, some brandy, rum and tequila, but not strong took, in such a climate somehow does not have. All this and non-alcoholic drinks are free, but you sign a check with a No pay stamp, the prices are indicated on the check, they are quite high for alcohol (for example, a bottled Corona costs 58 dirhams). Yes, who is traveling with children, check with travel agents: the hotel has an option whereby if adults with children under a certain age (didn’t specify, we didn’t need to) go on a half board, the hotel provides an opportunity to feed the children lunch without payment.
In general, everything is good in terms of nutrition, the only thing I would like is more fruit. There is papaya, yellow and green (very sweet) melon, dragon, watermelon, but there is some unimaginable problem with the latter: for lunch and dinner, cut into such small cubes, as if the last one was cut))).

Sea: super, very warm, clean, there was no oil, sometimes some kind of grass appeared in the afternoon, but it was not critical. True, sometimes the air was poisoned with their exhausts by various boats that offer some kind of wheelchairs. Despite the high temperature in September (it was 36-38 C), the sea is warm, but cools; in Dubai, the Persian Gulf, compared to Oman in Fujairah, looks like a hot mineral spring. Beach sand, very hot. At five o'clock in the evening, when it is no longer hot, every day on the beach, volleyball lovers have the opportunity to shake their holiday fat, the grid is lively, in our period it was easy to recruit people for two teams, sometimes for three.
On the beach there are waiters from the bar offering drinks.

The only thing the hotel, in our opinion, should work on is the evening program. No noisy animation a la Turkey is needed, but some music in the beach bar or in the lobby, so that you can sit with a glass of wine and listen, would be nice. There is live music almost every day, but for some reason at lunchtime, when people from the heat either disperse into rooms or fall asleep on sunbeds, the musicians start performing at the bar located between the pool and the beach. They play in the evening in the main restaurant during dinner. But after dinner there is practically nothing to do, there is nowhere to leave the hotel, there is some frail quiz or loto in the same bar, but this is probably for big fans. So get ready to entertain yourself in the evening.

We went on an excursion with an individual guide, agreed in advance, were satisfied, very grateful.
Everything was top notch. Thank you! We will advise everyone. This is an unusually polite, friendly, punctual and positive person. The tour lasted from 9.00 to 21.00 pick up from the hotel.

In general, the hotel met almost all expectations, the rest was a success. An excellent location for a beach holiday in September, and at a decent price in a good sense of the word. Recommended!
