Girls in yellow uniforms. None speak Russian. Somehow, by common efforts, they explained themselves, an Arab approached, took our passports, and left. We stand like "rams", not knowing how much and what to expect. We waited for 20 minutes, then a man who spoke Russian very well came, and on this all our worries ended. I dwell on this episode in detail, because if I myself read the details about the service, I would be calm, because all the hassle is a figment of the imagination. In total, we waited 30 minutes for clearance, after which we were escorted to our luggage, and then handed over to the meeting driver. We did not touch the luggage, everything was taken and reported. It was possible to take more things. And to finish with the airport, I advise you to use the marhaba service. It costs $30 per person and saves a lot of time. When we were getting our luggage, a woman approached us, so they had just passed control, and flew out of Domodedovo on the previous flight, an hour earlier than us. If you want to pay $55 per person, they will meet you at the sleeve, give you a ride in an electric car, and everything else is the same.
First impression of the Emirates. When we left the air-conditioned room, we were greeted by warm air, and in fact, according to local time, it was already the beginning of the 7th. It was cold in Egypt in the evenings, and I did not take off my jacket. We realized that warm clothes were taken in vain, and it was very pleasant. I would like to note that there is only an individual transfer to Meridien. I know that agents do not always warn about this. Of course, hiring a taxi is not a problem, but it is better to order it at checkout, since there is no difference in price, and you will save time and nerves. The car was spacious, the road was good, no potholes and potholes, we arrived quickly. The driver did not speak Russian, so he did not impose any sights. Yes, we did not see any special places. Mountains without vegetation, sand, miserable thorns, camels chewing these thorns, some small settlements, dusty palm groves. Well, the desert is the desert. And what really fascinated me was the sunset. An amazing sight. We arrived at the hotel at dusk. Things were taken away somewhere, and we were escorted to the reception, They took care of us right away. They seated us in comfortable chairs, gave us juice. The manager Nadezhda (from Germany) speaks Russian almost without an accent, moreover, in the correct literary language, so there was no misunderstanding. (I know that there is also Elena. She, in my opinion, is Russian). The room was set up quickly. I got a corner room on the 6th floor. The balcony is just huge, and the view is simply mesmerizing. The room (superior) is spacious, comfortable, decently furnished. TV, DVD, safe, hair dryer, iron and ironing board (so feel free to take an evening dress), kettle. But only three oranges were waiting for us from the fruits in the room, but coffee, green and black tea, sugar, cream, water were in abundance and replenished daily. (in Egypt we had to ask for coffee or water, although the hotel was not from cheap). I was struck by the bathrooms: spacious, with good finishes, everything is separate. Gels, shampoos, conditioner, soap - everything is available, everything is replenished. Bathrobes and slippers are not provided for children, so you need to take it with you. A very good dressing room, inside lockers, shelves, hangers are not screwed to the crossbar, so things can be conveniently placed. Svetaya take a rope from the house and fix it on the balcony. The fences are tinted there, you can’t see it from the street, but inside they won’t bother anyone. The room has a bar-refrigerator (for a fee, under a seal) and a set (wine, all sorts of Snickers, etc. , for a fee) in the wall. We didn’t use them, because we didn’t like the prices in the price list at all, let alone pay for sneakers....
I have one complaint about the “stuffing” of the room: only one adapter, they asked for another one - they didn’t give it, you see it’s tense. So with recharging phones, cameras - tight.

More about room service. I will refute or confirm the claims I read about. The air conditioner in the room is adjustable, we set it immediately to 24. So it's not true that you can freeze in the room. The pillows are comfortable and my head doesn't fall down. There are no mosquitoes in the room, I did not see them at all. There are flies on the beach. Bed linen will be changed at least every day, but for this you need to put cards on the bed. Towels are changed if they are not folded on a shelf, but hang on a hook. Bathrobes and slippers were not changed. A full extra bed was provided for the child. Cleaning is daily and thorough (the soles of the slippers are white and the dirt on them would be noticeable). Well, here's the onomere like everything. Next is food. We took all inclusive. We were immediately given a memo about our rights. In my opinion, the list of drinks is quite sufficient and they can be consumed all day on the beach. It is very convenient with a child, because he wants water or juice, or a milkshake, or hot chocolate. The prices for all this, I suspect, are crazy, But we ourselves also want something. In Egypt, we drank beer throughout the day, and in sufficient quantities. True, there is some fake beer there. So it quenches thirst and that's it. Here we also started with beer. But here it is not poured into 200-gram plastic cups, but brought in large branded mugs and it is real. Having mastered one such mug and realizing that this was not some water, I decided to “quit” alcohol and switched to milkshakes and coffee with my grandson. Unfortunately, only one cup of cappuccino is supposed here, but drink black, and with milk, and with cream at least all day long. Moreover, it is served in a coffee pot, and there is more than one cup. I can't say enough about freshly squeezed juices. We were not pressed. But the orange was clearly not from the package. Now about food. It is something!! ! The choice even for breakfast is very large. There are meat and fish, and all sorts of stewed vegetables, butter, cheese, yogurts, fruits. Delicious omelette, cooked in front of you, toppings of your choice. Lots of buns, very tasty puff pastry. From fruits, we increasingly took watermelon, melon, apples, kiwi. The rest is sour for my taste. Never had pears or strawberries. They took bananas or apples with them to the child. Never stated. Lunch is like a tour. You walk, look at the courts, because, on the menu, I can only read "fish". But everything is very different. I myself do not like seafood, but my daughter and grandson "came off". Every day - shrimp, sushi, sliced ​ ​ ​ ​ fish, seafood in salads. Rice is very tasty, stewed vegetables, pasta, potatoes. The choice of side dishes is sufficient. We didn’t take soups, I don’t like mashed ones, and they didn’t force the child.
My daughter and I took a glass of wine. I took white, it seems not very sour. Large selection of desserts. But we hardly took them.
Well, dinner every day is themed. Well, very tasty! It’s a little bit harsh, of course, but, by the way, I never had heartburn from food, but from cola - please.
Very caring attitude towards children. Serving them tables-wheelchairs. Bib, plastic cutlery, napkins with gel. There is a children's kitchen. I don’t know how they order food for very young ones, but apparently there is such a service, because many rest with children under one year old.
Live music is played during dinner. Maybe for someone sophisticated hearing it is ridiculous, but we liked it. The girl sings very well, no worse, at least than in our restaurants.
What else did you like. When you come to the restaurant, the manager meets you (there are also Russians), write down the number, and take you to the table. Not once, again, I compare with Egypt, they did not put me at an unprepared table. After lunch or dinner, you must sign for drinks. At first it was unpleasantly struck, but there are different power systems and they need this for the report. When we left, all our accounts were closed without any problems, no additional fees were charged. And no one looked into our mouths (someone wrote in a review), sit there and eat at least until you are stupor. Someone asked if it was possible to go to breakfast twice. Probably not, but if you sit until closing for a break, no one will kick you out. Well, everything seems to be about food, too.
