Rested in this hotel October 14-28.2011. family of 3 adults and 2 children aged 3 and 6. We got here by accident, because there were no places in Dubai for the second week of our vacation. We decided to take a chance and go to Ras Al Khaimah. I found only two reviews for this hotel, they didn’t seem to write anything bad. From Dubai airport to go exactly 50 minutes. Near this hotel there are two more (Al Hamra Fort and Al Hamra Village) and a shopping center with a supermarket. There is nothing else but the endless desert. Fans of parties and entertainment will be very bored here, because both are completely absent. The hotel has a small area, everything is very well maintained and beautiful. The beach is private, conditionally consists of two parts: one closer to the hotel and sunbeds without mattresses, and the other a little further away and striped mattresses on the sunbeds. In the first part of the beach, when entering the sea, two heaps of rather large stones are piled up. It is not at all clear why the hotel did not remove these heaps. It is impossible to swim there because of them. When the sea is full-flowing (high tide), they are completely invisible. On the very first day, I badly broke my finger on these stones (it hurt for a long time afterwards). In the second part, everything is in order, at the bottom there is only sand. The beach is generally clean, but somewhat straining cigarette butts in the sand. For some reason, some vacationers are so relaxed that they are not able to reach out with a cigarette butt to the trash can (which, by the way, are located near EVERY umbrella), but throw it right into the sand. Another interesting feature of this beach: right in the middle is a sign with the inscription that swimming in the sea is at their own peril and risk. That is, if you start to sink, no one will rush to save you. Why a 5 * hotel does not provide lifeguards on its own beach is not clear... A few words about the hotel itself and the rooms. The rooms are very spacious. We had two bedrooms. In addition to bedrooms, each room has a large living room, several bathrooms. nodes, a kitchen with all appliances and utensils (although there is only one socket & # 61514; ). In general, very spacious. Cleaned tolerably, the bed is changed every 3 days. The bathroom has shower gel, soap, shampoo, conditioner. Again, a hotel of this level could offer guests bathrobes and slippers and more small things. . The hotel itself looks very nice from the outside (especially at night), inside there are also many interesting and unusual interior details. The only thing that is somewhat annoying in the hotel is the cold. Maybe when it's +60C outside, it's very nice to plunge into the coolness of the hotel and your room. But when it’s +30 or lower outside the window, and you’re coming from the sea and you’re not hot anyway, then this permafrost just finishes you off. The hotel's air conditioning system is always set to 21-22 degrees. The room has the same picture. We didn’t have to turn on the air conditioner at all, because even without it we felt an invigorating chill. It is also impossible to open a window to let in heat, because the floor, bedding and everything in the room in general is immediately covered with condensation and becomes unpleasantly damp (almost wet). So they lived almost all the time at a temperature of + 22 degrees. The floor in the room, by the way, is stone and VERY COLD!! ! I advise everyone to ask for slippers at the reception, they will bring them, although reluctantly. You can't walk in the room without shoes. This personally bothered me a lot (especially inconvenient with children). A few words about nutrition. We had a full board, because in addition to the main restaurant in the hotel there is nowhere. There is another restaurant near the beach, but we never went there. The food is decent, but nothing more. It is very far from the Egyptian variety of desserts and pastries, to the European quality and quantity of main dishes - too... But you can live. Never poisoned, everything is of high quality. In general, the rest was excellent, because the sea was amazing, and we do not pay attention to everyday troubles. You can safely go here with the kids - there are a lot of them here. And it is very suitable for those who want to rest and relax on vacation, and not look for entertainment and hang out. Enjoy your holiday in any hotel!
