We were traveling in a bus with a cracked windshield, the place for an individual air conditioner was plugged up with a plastic bag, water flowed into the cabin during the rain, and tourists were sitting with their feet in a puddle. In Belarus, a “technical stop” was made for drivers for 40 minutes. Tourists were forbidden to get off the bus, and drivers at that time ... stocked up at low prices in the store. The driver Andrei (deputy director of the Delta Travel transport company), while driving, photographed landscapes, sent SMS, ate sandwiches, seeds (see photo). He was not embarrassed that there were 49 more people in the bus behind him.
We were never taken to the hotel for unloading: first the bus parked, then we dragged ourselves with our suitcases. They explained that either there was no entrance, or it was not far away. Even in the pouring rain, we had to trudge from the parking lot. At the same time, tourists from other buses were dropped off at the entrance without any problems.
Along the route, there were endless fights between the escort and the drivers. Apparently, they could not figure out which of them was more important.
