scammers, boors and rude people

I had to go to Europe with my brother, we decided to arrange a tour package and settle our affairs for the duration of the package. While we were sitting there, in the office, everyone smiled at us with 32 teeth, told us what a wonderful tour it would be. We were promised a comfortable bus.

Departure day: a Citroen Berlingo car came for us (a car that is just not intended for tour trips). There were two other people besides us. The ride was terribly uncomfortable (3 people in the back double seat and one in front). In addition, the guide had to fit somewhere in the future - just do no idea what they thought in the tour company. Well, okay, we thought.

Briefly about the carrier: grandfather, 62 years old, rude. 2 times almost provoked an accident in Budapest, does not know the road, does not know how to use the navigator, does not speak English, barely through joint efforts, we helped the driver find the way to the hotel and showed how to use the navigator.

Arrival at the hotel: it turns out that the smart-ass director of this "sharashkin" office ordered only two rooms - 3-bed and 2-bed. My brother and I were supposed to be accommodated in a 3-bed room, along with a boor-carrier (just not conceivable !!!!!!). Thank God that we, as those who speak English, immediately got their bearings and took the key to the 2-bed room. The second couple, who was traveling with us, began to resent the same thing and, as a result, the driver went to sleep in his car.

The next day: nothing foreshadowed trouble, my brother and I walked around Budapest, abandoning the planned tours, which included a ticket.

Outcome (day of departure): without warning us, the driver left. We tried to contact him by phone - he was rude, rude, demanded money from us for the return trip. A call to the director of the travel agency did not bring any result - they began to accuse us allegedly of not warning the driver about what we would do on the day of departure (!!!!!).

After listening to all the reproaches in our direction, we decided to go back on our own, because. it’s not clear what will happen to this driver, or grief to the director of this company, and whether they will take us back at all.

P.S. we were also charged 100 euros for extending our visa from 3 to 8 days, under the guise of having to book hotel rooms for a longer period; although, as it turned out, the rest also opened visas for 8 days, and the hotel room was booked for only two days.
