We went to the zone on 07/08/2012 with a girl, I liked everything very much. The trip was made very competently, first a documentary, then an excursion to Pripyat, then a delicious lunch in the Chernobyl canteen, they were taken to the reactor, then they went through decontamination). Great funny tour guides, good weather, comfortable air-conditioned bus. →

I wanted to visit Pripyat for a very long time! I have been interested in this topic since my school years! It all started before the S.T.A.L.K.E.R. Of course, I'm not a fan of this series, but I went through all of them, and I do not argue that they did not weakly fuel interest in the Exclusion Zone!
