We rested with a large group of 12 people. From the end of January to the beginning of February. From the airport to Bad Gastein about 90 km, on the way, representatives of the Tez tour met the possibilities of the region, offered excursions and we filled out a form in which we indicated how many days we needed a ski pass, and in the evening we were brought to the hotel ready-made cards , we paid for them, and also paid for the skis, which we only had to pick up the next morning (the girls from the Tez tour were already waiting at the rental office and helped everyone find the right equipment). All this saved us a lot of time, because. We stopped by at the weekend and the influx of riders was great. Tez tour big respect)))
At the hotel we were met by a German manager, the rest of the staff speaks Russian. The rooms were not yet ready, we took our swimsuits, left our suitcases in the hotel lobby and went to the thermal baths. You can walk to the term on foot, but because. the whole city is in a mountainous area, it’s hard on foot, and by taxi from 10 to 20 euros (depending on the number of passengers). I really liked the thermal baths - several pools, various hydromassage effects, a slide for children, and a pool on the street is generally a miracle - you lie in warm water and contemplate the skiers))) We also went to saunas, the entrance is strictly without swimwear, but we went in towels and no one kicked out))) Thermae can be taken for 3 hours or for the whole day, for an adult it costs 3 hours 20 euros, per child -12. Towel rental 3 euros. There is also a large SPAR supermarket near the term.
Now about the hotel itself - we liked it very much, the hotel is not new, but very cozy, from all the windows there is a view of the mountains, the restaurant has panoramic windows and also offers a gorgeous view, so the hotel lives up to its name. Cleaning in the rooms is normal, not all rooms had a hair dryer, I asked at the reception, they gave me, but they said that the last one. The rooms are very warm, we even had to screw on the batteries, there is no safe in the hotel, they say that there were no cases of theft, but we carried documents and money with us. The food is normal: in the morning breakfast is a buffet (always the same, but everything is delicious), at 16-00 an afternoon snack begins in a cafe (soup, pizza or sausages), and dinner starts at 19-00. Dinner consists of soup and salads (the same for everyone), but the main course must be ordered (a menu for the week is issued upon arrival, where you mark what you will eat every day), then another dessert. White/red wine and beer included. I also wanted to say that there are standard 2-bed rooms, and there are reduced ones (grand lit is called), so the reduced one cost me 300 euros cheaper than the standard one, but there is enough space for 2 people, the room is wonderful, and t . to. he is the first from the stairs, I also caught the Internet in the room (number 102). In the evening, at the reception, you need to note the room number and the time at which you are going to go to the mountains in a special sheet, at this time the bus picks you up from the hotel and takes you to the ski lift for free, in the evening in the same way back.

In the middle of the week we took a break from skiing - we went to Munich for an excursion to the BMW Museum (75 euros / person). I enjoyed the tour very much - highly recommended!
In general, the hotel and the rest were satisfied!
